With the release of DBA2, we had a very warm welcome and we want to thank you for it from the bottom of our dark hearts. One question was coming back like a boomerang though: “Can I play it on Steam Deck?”

The launch of Don’t Be Afraid 2 was a great joy for us and we want to thank you for your support and feedback. We’ve been hard at work since, listening to you closely so that we could improve your experience even further.

Bug fixes:

• fixed a bug that made solving the last puzzle in the Attic level impossible
  
• Sometimes David got so excited that his voice lines overlapped. That no longer happens.
  
• Menu turning off the controls bug is fixed
  

General Improvements:

• You will notice multiple new blood-pumping jumpscares in different locations. No spoilers though…
  
• Flashlight: the beam is wider, with improved gamma
  
• batteries last longer
  

Room-specific improvements:

• Attic: improved clarity of symbols on the stone circle
  
• Police Room: added multiple hints scattered around, your flashlight in UV mode will make solving these puzzles much easier; UV-sensitive numbers near the fingerprints clarity improved
  
• Tunnels/ Final level: added flashlight batteries at the beginning of the level
  

Languages:

• added Chinese Traditional language support
  
• added Japanese language support
  
• added Korean language support
