But before we explain what's actually in this update, here's a brief instruction.

Sometimes you can have a problem with launching the game (or some parts of it) after the update. This issue could be related to Steam and not the game itself. If you encounter a problem like that, please check your local files here:

In this update, we focused heavily on elements that can improve optimization. And we're still working on it - with each update, we try to add something that will increase your FPS.

Here's what we did:

• significant FPS gains due to vegetation optimization
• fixed some memory leaks
  
• improvements of the reflections on the roads
  
• improved the reflections on the hidden shelf behind the poster
  
• fixed the issue where cars often showed up with a listing price the same as 'If restored to 100%' price (so you couldn’t make a profit on them). Now, these cars will appear much less often
  
• fixed the price difference for cars with nitro (sometimes the price on the Cars For Sale screen didn’t match what NPCs offered when you got close to them)
  
• made improvements in translations for Polish and German

Here's what we did:

• significant FPS gains due to reflection optimization
• hiding spot where you can hide from the police – reaching it ends the chase (there’s a distance bar on the screen, and also an indicator)
  
• the ability to hang license plates in the shed (on a special shelf behind the poster)
  
• an option to disable notifications in the settings
  
• slightly reduced police speed
  
• fixed the quest related to upgrading the shed and buying it from the old man
  
• some changes to the economy, so you can now make a bit more profit from cheaper cars
  
• improved the “Cars For Sale” screen – instead of Market Price, you’ll now see the car’s value after restoring it to 100%
  
• increased scroll speed on several screens
  
• fixed a glitch in the quest log
  
• removed a memory leak that occurred when adding car parts to the inventory
  
• made improvements in translations for French, German, and Portuguese
  

Many of you often ask about the ability to hide the UI in the game. This is just a reminder that there’s an option to disable it completely (using the ] key). We’ve also recently added the option to hide car hints ːsteamhappyː

Our main focus is still on optimization. If you encounter this issue, join our Discord. We'll give you access to the test builds in which we're trying to solve this problem. Each feedback is helpful here!

Here's what else we did:

• added the possibility to hide (and show) car hints
  
• rescue button in pause menu (teleports you to the Gas Station if you're stuck somewhere)
  
• improvements to the base upgrade quest - now you need any three purchased upgrades instead of three from different categories
  
• “Reach level” achievement fixed
  
• fixed the problem when you couldn't install (or remove) Nitro in Rada Rocket
  
• Nitro in McLoretta fixes (it used to fall between colliders and couldn’t be picked up after removal)
  
• the trunk in McLoretta can now be opened during the inspection
  
• fixed memory leak during game saving
  
• increased daily negotiation limit with an NPC from 3 to 5
  
• slightly less frequent notifications
  
• reduced tire marks on roads
  
• optimized lighting in Lake Camp

• reduced shadowcaster data on far vegetation and trees for a better performance
  
• optimized beer bottle (and a new logo on it ːsteamhappyː)
  
• improved tow truck physics to prevent cars from sliding off it when the player walks away
  
• fixed a problem with stolen cars appearing in locations where they should not appear
  
• added improvements in French and German translations
  
• fixed a few exceptions that could cause some bugs
