This short announcement is just meant as a headsup before the actual launch period, summarizing a few infos regarding often repeated questions.
Will there be a Steam Pre- Order? No, but this doesn't mean that you are missing out on anything (content/sales) - it just changes the time you actually can buy the game. Everyone plays the same version at the same time, on the same sale... which leads me to the next point: Why is there no Steam price public yet?
Different platforms have different criteria when it comes to "when information have to be nailed down" - but be reassured, that the price will be similar to the already known console prices - with the normal differences between consoles and PC versions and regions, obviously.Where is the updated Demo?
It's coming before launch - a little more patience please.What about the Voice Over?
Well... Finally we can make it official:Star Trek: Voyager - Across the Unknown features fully voiced logs by Tuvok and Tom Paris at the beginning of each sector. These logs recap recent events and set the stage for the mission ahead, helping ground each mission in the ongoing journey of the Voyager crew.[/p][p]
It was important to us to bring back the original actors, Tim Russ and Robert Duncan McNeill, and to work directly with them in a way that felt authentic and true to these iconic characters. Even though this day and age brings interesting new techniques, focusing on performances recorded by the actors themselves allowed us to create something personal and meaningful within the scope of the project.Want to know a little more?
