Ammossum v.0.9 — Your major requests
[p]First of all, thanks to everyone who participated in our playtest and filled out the player surveys. It really helped us understand how to improve the game. We’ve updated it based on your feedback, so let’s see what’s new!
Big things:
1. A brand-new tutorial mission
2. Full controller support!
Gameplay changes:
1. Adjusted the sequence and number of arenas with stations. Now the game starts from a station.[/p][p]
2. Updated obstacle generation patterns.[/p][p]
3. Enemy waves: reworked the wave generation algorithm and added different wave types.[/p][p]
4. Changed the projectile trajectory for bullet-firing weapons — bullets now fly in a straight line.[/p][p]
5. Rebalanced explosion damage (mainly from balls). Damage no longer fades out and is applied fully across the entire radius.[/p][p]
6. Craftsman's Needle now pulls enemies toward the player.[/p][p]
7. Melee weapons now throw projectiles in the facing direction when killing an enemy.[/p][p]
8. Rebalanced enemies — for example, armadillos now stay rolled up for a much shorter time.[/p][p]
9. Projectiles and weapons now have random sub-projectile directions. Item rotation now happens clockwise.
Economy changes:1. Adjusted the starting loadout — now it consists only of Aspects and Wagons.[/p][p]
2. Reworked the shop item generator at stations.[/p][p]
3. When buying a weapon, the player now always receives a free matching level-1 projectile.[/p][p]
4. At the end of a battle, the player now gets only one reward; the Aspect that granted extra rewards has been removed.[/p][p]
5. Items can no longer be dismantled into Bones. Instead, dismantling an item now gives you an additional card choice.[/p][p]
6. Reward cards have been updated.
UI&UX changes:
1. Updated item tooltips: the item’s shape is now displayed prominently at the top.[/p][p]
2. Fixed a bug with buttons where click events were triggered even after moving the cursor away.[/p][p]
3. Added size variation to items in weapon assembly for better navigation — objects gradually shrink from the center to the edges. The weapon item itself is now displayed larger.[/p][p]
4. Updated the top panel: it now shows full train status info, while the map information has been simplified.
Bug fixes:
1. Fixed a bug where enemies didn’t deal double damage to the train after Extreme Tempering at a station.[/p][p]
2. Fixed a bug where inactive NPCs were still displayed incorrectly.[/p][p]
3. Fixed a critical bug that occurred when killing an enemy in melee while equipping a Phantom Revolver without ammo.[/p][p]
4. Fixed a bug where the number of shots was displayed incorrectly near the crosshair.[/p][p]
5. Fixed an issue where the bone drop chance was too high; the “Poacher” Aspect now works correctly.
Other changes:1. Fixed typos and incorrect descriptions.[/p][p]
2. Updated visual effects for certain weapon shots.[/p][p]
3. Poacher’s and Gambler’s wagons have been temporarily removed for rework.[/p][p]
4. New overall game balance adjustments.
The update is already available in the playtest. See you![/p]
