Translation Reworked

A lot of players gave feedbacks on the game's English translation. I tried to work on it a few times on my own, but didnt find better words to use.

Some streamers start to play my game on stream so I start to take it seriously. I referenced the good old Magic:The Gathering and HearthStone, they use simple descriptions to deliver complex gameplay. And luckily, I have some friends to help me with it recently.

All the English texts in the game have been reworked.

It's still not perfect, but I'm open to feedbacks in any form. Hope you guys understand this is a strategy game with a lot of mecanisms that once you see it happens, you know how it works, and it's just hard to explain it in plain text. In the end it is not a constitution law.

I'm sure the game experience is better now. Have fun!

Translation lost for Recipe Cards fixed!

All the recipe cards lost their translation, and I found and fixed it. If you havent touched recipe cards, go and have a try.
Also Playtest has been transformed into Demo, so see you guys on the Next fest.

It's been a while since I started to develop this version. Excited to share publicly!

1.2 HotFix and Balance

Suddenly players number go up and you guys help me find a lot of bugs...
I just fix a few bugs mentioned most

Bug fixed:
  • Enemy Shaman link bug leading to game stuck
  • Night Elf Ranger keeps attacking until game ends
  • multiple click with Cleric adds damage multiple times
  • many consumables has wrong counter mechanism like Dragon Blood, Beer.
  • Victory screen display
  • delete coin usage stuck during turn
  • Character screen cant unlock new chracters
  • enemy queen doesnt return heart when dead
  • Gallery panel changes card pool does take effect now
  • Some enemies' skill description of retreating to backline was added
  • Difficulty 4 stuck bug fixed. Change the decrecated design of diffciulty 4.
  • Make 5 queen loss simpler and straight forward.
  • 3 or more golems will only get 1 bigger golem bug fixed.


New features:
  • Now cards attack order is simpler: from left up corner to right bottom corner, instead of ordering by damage and turn damage dealt.
  • Damage Panel now shows extra info about real damage after armor.


Stats balance:
  • PandaMonk, Lizard, Wheel, Bread and more stats balance
  • Beer gain of Brewmaster is now temporary
  • Duergar has a timer of 2
  • Reaper's skill damage and Ballista's fort damage ignores armor
  • 'Dragon Blood makes Dog become Wolf' now changes to 'Dragon Blood makes Lizard become Green Dragon', and 'Bear becomes Wood Elf Druid' is fixed.
  • Silver Sword now add 1 counter and 1 damage per buff

Version 1.2 Big Update is Live!

Enemy Skill System:
20+ enemies have their unique skills! You'd better destroy the fort ASAP, or the king would exile your deck!
Character Pick:
Player can now choose a character from these 5: Cleric, Commander, Recruiter, Sourcerer, Black Magician. They have different play styles and try to make synergy with your cards.
Improvements
  • The whole stats system is reworked and balanced. Hopefully you will find the game not too hard or too ez. But still, feel free to come to Discord and tell us the cards you like or not!
    • Weak build like poison are buffed (poison damage now ignores armor).
    • Legendary cards are less important, they still need a good deck to release the full power
    • Try it out in the game!
  • Coin UI Remake.
  • Some VFX and SFX added.
  • Attack Animation timescale reworked so low damage cards attacks faster and high damage cards slower.
  • Heartlosing Mechanism reworked: you lose heart only when you have exceeded enemies at the start of a turn.
Bug fixed
  • Tutorial display bug fixed.
  • Sometimes players cant return to main menu.
