To put it politely, I was a little dubious when I received an email for the upcoming launch of Morels: The Hunt 2. A game about hunting... mushrooms? Seriously? And a sequel at that, indicating that somebody had done this once already and then decided for some reason it was worth making another one? Really?..

We are extremely excited to announce that Morels: The Hunt 2 is officially live and released on steam!

The update for Morels 1 is also live.
-Footprints where you have been on the map.
-Daily morel counts and daily record.
-Option to turn off spiders and make them bunny balls.
-Sunglasses as a new item. This will lighten dark shaded areas darken the brightness of the sun.
-Music by default will play a playlist starting with that maps song instead of looping the same song.
-Added upper right Main UI to the Horse and ATV UI.
-Fixed Redwood Forest morels location bug.

Morels: The Hunt 2 Releases in one Week!

The day is almost here. Morels: The Hunt 2 will officially release in one week from today on April 17th at 10am CST (Same time zone as Chicago). The original soundtrack and an update to the original game will also go live on the same day and time.

We just wanted to say thank you to everyone has not only supported the development of this game but also for everyone who played the first game and encouraged us to make a sequel. We can't wait to share the game with everyone!

We are excited to announce that we will also be releasing the Original Soundtrack to Morels: The Hunt 2 on April 17th. The game and soundtrack will both go live at 10am CST that day.

We will also be releasing an update to the original game on the same day with some of the new features from this game.
