Dawnsbury Days 2.62 (Concordant Choir fix)

  • Modding: When two mods try to add the same spell, instead of the second mod crashing, the first mod in load order will now take precedence, and the second mod will not add the spell.
  • Modding: Added ModManager.RegisterNewSpellOrThrow for use by mods that want to keep the previous behavior.
  • Modding: Added ModManager.TryParse, though I don't recommend its use much.

Dragon's Demand

A Kickstarter campaign for a new cRPG video game also based on PF2E has been announced and is now active at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ossianstudios/pathfinder-the-dragons-demand.

The game is by Ossian Studios—we're unaffiliated, but I figured this Kickstarter project might be of interest to Dawnsbury Days players because it's for a full cRPG with a faithful PF2E rules interpretation. In some ways, a game that Dawnsbury Days would aspire to be, if it had a higher budget.

The Kickstarter project promises a level 1–8 adventure with all core ancestries and classes, faithful adaptation of the rules, and many complex and fun characters, comes from a studio with a history in cRPGs, and is officially licensed.

If you're interested in checking it out, it's called Dragon's Demand.

Dawnsbury Days 2.61 (attack of opportunity hotfix)

Hotfix:
  • Fixed that the rules engine would sometime crash if an attack of opportunity caused a creature to cease to exist. (Sorry for the large number of hotfixes. The introduction of reach weapons required a larger refactoring, and some of these new regression bugs slipped through...)

Art:
  • New art (S5E5): The Final Dusk

Dawnsbury Days 2.60 (undead immune to nonlethal hotfix)

Fixed a bug where the last major update (2.58) caused undead to be immune to nonlethal damage. (Only constructs should have this blanket immunity to nonlethal damage.)

Dawnsbury Days 2.59 (armor bonus hotfix)

Fixed that your armor gave you an item bonus not just to your AC but also to all saving throws.
