Update 1.4.5 - Optimization, Auction, Navigation, Build Improvements & Bug Fixes

[p]Hello Contractors![/p][p]As we mentioned in our previous announcement, we are continuing to work full steam ahead on bug fixes.[/p][p]In this update, we have made improvements to the auction, navigation, and construction sections, as well as resolving a few issues related to lighting in terms of optimization.[/p][p]We will continue to add new features to the game and make bug fixes in the coming period.[/p][p][/p][h2]Highlights[/h2]
  • [p]Major navigation improvements for more consistent pathing.[/p]
  • [p]Auction now factors in more build elements and shows your total cost.[/p]

  • [p]Fixed a performance issue related to ceiling lights, identified via optimization feedback.[/p][p]I'm posting our optimization form here once again.   • [p]Various NPC performance improvements and bug fixes (ongoing).[/p]
  • [p]A Shadow toggle has been added to the Ceiling Light interface.[/p][p]Players can now choose to disable shadows from light sources for better performance, or enable them for more realistic lighting and shading effects.[/p][p][/p][p]We would like to show you this comparison from one of the save files you sent us.[/p][p]You can see the FPS difference regarding the lighting optimization improvement in the image below.[/p][p]Both images were captured at 4K Epic settings with DLSS/DLAA settings.

[h2]Auction[/h2]
  • [p]Roof, Porch, Balcony, Garage, Pool, and Outdoor Furniture (Garden) now affect auction calculations.[/p]
  • [p]Total cost is now visible directly in the Auction panel.[/p]
  • [p]Added an Info Box to the Auction tab with key tips and details.[/p]
  • [p]Done-stage changes now count: After moving a build to Done, any modifications you make will now correctly reflect in the auction (previously they didn’t).[/p]
  • [p]Interaction lock (reason): Items that now affect the auction and are paid as part of the sale are locked from interaction during the auction phase and after the house is sold, so priced content can’t be altered.[/p]
  • [p]A visual error that caused us to see different values than previously calculated when opening and closing the auction panel has been fixed.[/p]
  • [p]Roof construction is incurring more consistent expenses, and this is reflected in the price based on the expenditures. This also applies to the balcony, porch, and garden.[/p]
[p][/p][h2]Gameplay & Building[/h2]
  • [p]You can now access the nails of windows hidden behind ladders during construction.
    When holding a screwdriver and standing on the ladder, the ladder’s opacity lowers so you can see and interact with the window.[/p]
  • [p]When Build missions (including Mail, Parcel, and Contract types) are canceled or replanned, any Consumable Cost spent up to that point is now refunded.[/p]
[h2]Navigation Improvement [/h2]
  • [p]Pathfinding has been significantly improved. Vehicles now follow lane-based routes for smoother and more realistic navigation. [/p]
  • [p]When a route is set on the opposite lane, the system automatically adjusts based on your current direction, guiding you to make a proper turn at the next intersection.[/p]
[h2]Missions[/h2]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where Amid, Isabella, and Lin (the last three missions) could, for unknown reasons, reactivate after completion and get stuck in a loop.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug preventing “Amid Decorate Contract” from reaching 100% completion.[/p]
[h2]UI/UX[/h2]
  • [p]Outside Decoration (Optional) panel (under General Mission Progress) now includes items for Garden, Roof, Porch, Balcony, Pool, and Garage.[/p]

    An issue where NPCs could unintentionally corrupt paint state (due to Save & Load or other factors) has been resolved.[/p]

    Fixed multiple cases where doors and parts of certain walls were not covered properly by wallpapers or wallboards. (We are investigating the cause of a bug that causes interaction loss between interior doors that are placed too close to each other. This may still cause problems.)[/p]
  • [p]Navigation Causing FPS Drops
    Resolved a performance issue where the navigation system (particularly pathfinding) led to significant FPS drops. We will continue our efforts to improve navigation.[/p]
  • [p]Woodframe Placement Blockers
    Fixed several edge cases where woodframes could not be placed during construction due to invisible or misaligned blockers.[/p]
  • [p]NPC Tutorial Reliability
    The NPC tutorial system is now functioning more reliably. A bug that caused empty NPC names to appear and their animations to loop endlessly has been resolved.[/p]
  • [p]Interior Wall Cladding Visibility
    The problem of part of the cladding not being visible when cladding interior walls has been solved.[/p]
  • [p]Sliding Door & Archway Mission Compatibility
    The compatibility of sliding doors and archways with mission needs has been adjusted.[/p]
  • [p]Old Interior Walls Reappearing After Replanning
    A bug that caused interior walls from an old plan to reappear after replanning has been fixed.[/p]

  • [p]Paint Efficiency Not Applying: Paint consumption now correctly scales with efficiency levels. Previously, all levels used the same amount.[/p]
  • [p]Plaster Efficiency Level 5 Not Working: Fixed an issue where level 5 plaster efficiency offered no improvement.[/p]
  • [p]NPC Worker Cement Overuse: NPC workers now use cement at rates similar to the player’s, resolving large discrepancies in material consumption.[/p]

  • [p]Client/Server Wheel Sync Issues: Wheels disappearing after Save/Load, Alt + Tab, or reconnecting has been fixed.[/p]
  • [p]Apex Titan X6 Handbrake Animation: Driver hand animation now behaves correctly when using the handbrake.[/p]
  • [p]Apex Titan X6 Engine Toggle Glitch: Fixed a visual bug where wheels would "jump" when rapidly starting/stopping the engine.[/p]
  • [p]FOV Slider Terrain Artifacts: FOV values above 85 no longer cause terrain deformation or visual artifacts.[/p]

  • [p]Bed Sorting Not Working: Sorting beds by price now works properly in the store UI.[/p]
  • [p]Subtitles Toggle Not Functioning: Subtitles now hide correctly when the setting is turned off.[/p]
  • [p]Planner Typos: "Informations" corrected to "Information"; extraneous strings in Total and Room Info removed.[/p]
  • [p]“Extra Shelfs” Label Fixed: Renamed to "Extra Shelves" for grammatical consistency.[/p]

  • [p]Joshua Contract Wall Element Count: Corrected a logic error where unremovable baseboards and crown molding were included in the objective count.[/p]
  • [p]Stairs Causing Stuttering: Stuttering related to certain stair types in build missions has been resolved.[/p]
  • [p]Door Invert Screw Bug: Screws on inverted doors are now accessible for tightening and removal.[/p]
  • [p]Wall Demolition Visuals (NPC Workers): NPCs now produce proper demolition visuals, matching those of the player.[/p]

  • [p]Gate Detection at Barracks: Barracks gate now opens for NPC workers as expected.[/p]
  • [p]"Move There" to Sky Glitch: Issuing move commands while looking at the sky no longer causes erratic movement.[/p]
  • [p]Send Back to Office Glitch: NPC workers can now be recalled during active tasks, and vehicle behavior has been stabilized.[/p]
  • [p]Duplicate Site Assignments: Reassigning a worker to a site they're already at no longer spawns extra vehicles or causes disappearances.[/p]
  • [p]Reset Issues: Resetting NPCs no longer results in them getting stuck in signage or environment objects.[/p]

  • [p]Floating Boxes After Save/Load: Boxes held by NPCs are no longer left floating or non-interactable after loading a game.[/p]
  • [p]Furniture Removal Animation Bug: NPCs now properly place boxes instead of throwing them, preventing desync and collision issues.[/p]
  • [p]Client Picking Up NPC Items: Clients can no longer grab items held by NPCs, resolving glitching and stuck-state issues.[/p]
  • [p]Incorrect Objective Label: “Extract” renamed to “Take Out” for consistency with actual objectives.[/p]
  • [p]Tablet UI Shows Idle NPCs: NPC status on the tablet now updates correctly when given tasks from both server and client.[/p]
  • [p]Brick Phase Skipped: Multiple NPCs can now work together without skipping bricklaying before lintel installation.[/p]
  • [p]Transport Vehicle Clipping: Collision with NPC vehicles has been corrected to prevent clipping through them.[/p]

  • [p]NPC Movement Lag (Client View): NPCs now move smoothly from the client’s point of view.[/p]
  • [p]Client Employee UI Access: Clients can now hire and assign NPCs from the Employee tab like the server player.[/p]
  • [p]Cement Pouring VFX: Cement visuals now appear correctly at the NPC worker’s position instead of in front of the server.[/p]
  • [p]Naming UI Keybind Conflicts: Renaming NPC workers no longer opens conflicting UI tabs.[/p]

  • [p]Office Storage Camera Angle: Adjusted the camera angle during “Extra Shelves” customization to avoid visual obstruction.[/p]
