Update 0.7.5 - Emote Wheel Rework

Hello, dear contractors.
In this week's update, we're bringing you a reworked Emote Wheel, and we're implementing a few bug fixes in the update.

We reworked the Emote Wheel and added many new emotes.
The Emote Wheel now includes a parent category and within each category there are multiple emotes.

[h2]⚙️ General Improvements and Bug Fixes[/h2]
  • Introduced an optimisation to furniture assets for improved performance.
  • Fixed some shift between material options for some furniture.
  • Replaced several outdated furniture models with updated versions.
  • Fixed incorrect positioning of interior walls ceiling borders.
  • Fixed a bug where using “Shift + throw” could cause extra items to be thrown or visually jam the hand. Fast transfer can now only be done to drop points.
  • You can now select the resolution in the borderless fullscreen option.
    If you are using borderless fullscreen and have problems with some UIs such as big map, you can solve the problem by setting the resolution setting equal to the resolution of the monitor.
  • And other minor bug fixes implemented.

Update 0.7.2 - Material Selection for Plasterboard & Baseboard

[h3]Hello contractors![/h3]
It's been 2 weeks since the Roof & Porch update and last week we introduced the roofless porch. While we added details to some furniture, we also released remote city details and changeable roof tiles.
And we also implemented bug fixes as we do with every update.
This update will include a few bug fixes and a small improvement.
I would like to point out that with this update, we continue to make improvements in optimization and we have made some minor visual changes.

[h2]Material Selection for Plasterboards & Baseboards [/h2]
You can now use plasterboard and baseboard in different colors. We have added a material option and now you can choose the color you want. We think that small details are of great importance in enhancing the look of a room.



[h2]🛠 Bug Fixes & Improvements 🛠[/h2]

Trolley Catch/Throw Boxes HUD Inconsistencies
  • When controlling the trolley, the “Catch Boxes” and “Drop Boxes” items on the HUD now only appear when needed.
Client Destroy Tile SFX Inconsistency
  • Clients can now hear the SFX when the server destroys tiles.
Barber Seat Multiple Player Inconsistency
  • Multiple players can no longer sit on the same barber seat at the same time.
Garden Grass Shovel Size Doesn't Change
  • Shovel area can now be adjusted properly.
NPC Related Inconsistencies
  • NPCs no longer appear hunched over or floating.
  • Glasses now correctly display over the eyes.
  • Drinking, phone calling, and talking animations have been improved.
  • T-pose issue on some NPCs has been fixed.
Woodframe Beneath Interior Doors Installation Inconsistency
  • Bottom woodframes can now be placed without needing to install the door first.
Inconsistencies of One of the Medium Default Plans
  • Double Window in the 1st Floor Office has been repositioned to prevent layout issues.
  • Missing Interior Door on the 2nd Floor has been added.
Porch Base Build Contract Placement Inconsistency
  • Porch Bases can now be placed properly during all stages of Contract Build Missions.
Porch Roof & Rails Transforms Into Ghosts After Save/Load
  • Porch Roofs and Rails no longer turn into ghosts after saving and loading the game.
Ground Deletion/Placement Edge Case Fixes
  • Shovel and sand mechanics now work more reliably around wide and double exterior doors.
  • Quarter and half tile issues can now be bypassed from different angles.
Ceiling Misalignment
  • The problem of misaligned ceilings on the top floor of the houses being built was solved.
Roof Drain Visibility Fix
  • Constructed Roof Drains were not visible in some scenarios. This issue has been fixed.

[h2]Roofless Porch[/h2]


We thought that porches don't always need a roof and that beautiful designs can be created with just the base, and we present the roofless porch to you with this update. We hope you like it as a novelty to beautify your garden.

[h2]Replacing Roof Tiles[/h2]


Don't like the color of your roof? Tear it down and re... No. Now you can change it with just one click! You can change your roof with just a different Roof Tile box. This also allows you to make different designs.

[h2]Distant City Details[/h2]


When you look away from Creek Harbour, you can now see other cities. When it gets dark, you can see the lights of distant cities. These details are designed to make the world of ContractVille more realistic.

[h2]Some Furniture Revised[/h2]

We changed the materials of some of the furniture and added more details, so you can customize the colors of the body and details as you wish.



[h2]Bug Fixes[/h2]

[h3]Roof Fixes & Improvements[/h3]
  • Snap-able Roofs: Gable Roofs can now be snapable. This feature, which was available on HIP Roofs, is now also available for Gable Roofs. In this way, it is possible to make more different designs.
  • Multi-Story Roof Placement Fix: Roofs can now only be placed on the topmost floor of multi-story buildings.
  • Roof Build Mission Completion Fix: Roof Windows and Chimneys no longer disappear when accepting the same Build Mission again.
  • Gable Roof Beam Collision Fix: The edge beams of Gable Roofs now have accurate collision and visual alignment.
  • Roof Builder (GABLE) Length Adjustment Fix: On GABLE type roofs the length of the sides can now be adjusted by the player.
  • Roof Chimney Sound Effects Added: Installation and demolition of Roof Chimneys now include proper sound effects.
  • Roof Snapping Alignment Fix: Roofs now correctly snap to adjacent roofs during Placement Mode when properly aligned.
  • Floating Roof Placement Fix: Roofs can no longer be placed in the air when the Roof Builder is activated outside the Roof Area.
  • Roof Dimension Limitations Implemented: Roof height adjustments are now restricted within reasonable limits, while length remains bound to the building plan.
  • Roof Consumable Usage Synchronization: When a roof-related consumable item is used, the server now correctly updates the item’s remaining amount.
  • Roof Height Modification Restriction After Snap: Once a Roof is snapped into place, its height and length can no longer be adjusted beyond the dimensions of the connected Roof.
  • Gable Roof Area Extension Fix: The Gable Roof can no longer be extended excessively beyond the designated Roof Area. Additionally, Roof Ends now align correctly without unintended angling issues.
  • Roof Builder Snap Dimension Alignment Fix: Roofs now retain consistent height and length when snapped together, preventing mismatches and ensuring a visually and structurally uniform appearance.
  • Fixing the Appearance of HIP Roofs: Fixed a bug with HIP roofs where the tiles on each side did not look the same.

[h3]General Fixes[/h3]
  • Polish Language Update: We have made many fixes in Polish and we would like to thank our dear players who helped us with this on our Discord server and Gluciorek who single-handedly made hundreds of fixes. We also had a lot of Polish players willing to help and we thank them all for their offers. Dziękuję!
  • Classport Nimo Fuel Cap Fix: The problem with not being able to interact with the refueling point when interacting with the pump or gas canister to refuel the vehicle has been resolved.
  • City Furniture Store Lampshade Thumbnail Fix: Low-resolution lampshade thumbnails have been updated to match their in-game quality.
  • Box Placement Restrictions Updated: Players will no longer be able to place boxes on the heads of other players and stationary NPCs in the world.
  • Parcel Sign Interaction Fix: Parcel signs now correctly display only the intended parcel information, preventing unintended interactions with newly listed parcels.
  • General improvements: Many improvements have been made in terms of optimization and visuals and SFX.
  • Minor bug fixes have been implemented.

[h2]Roof[/h2]
We have brought 2 roof types to ContractVille and with dozens of different options, you can build unique roofs. We took care to make the gameplay mechanics so that you can decide freely.
The look of the houses you build in ContractVille is much more beautiful with this innovation and we hope you like it!



[h2]Roof Decorations[/h2]
Once you have built your roofs, you can decorate them with windows and chimneys. This adds a very nice color to the look of the roofs. We have included many roof and window products and you can customize each of them individually.



[h2]Porch[/h2]
Another much desired and expected feature: Porch. All of its materials can be purchased at the Blossioum Store, where you can choose between small, medium and large sizes. Just like the roof, windows and chimney, the porch is fully customizable and offers plenty of variety.

Roofs and porches complete the garden update, and all this together paves the way for building a wide variety of houses. With this update, we feel like you're closer to building your dream house.

[h2]NPC Characters Renewed[/h2]
After the 0.6 update, we wanted to continue with the visual changes and we have renewed the NPC Characters. Now you can see better looking NPCs as you walk around the city.



[h2]Fog Added[/h2]
Fog has descended on the city! With this change, we aimed for a visually more beautiful and optimizationally beneficial development.



[h2]Visual Enhancements and Optimization Improvement[/h2]
We made some changes to the graphics settings.
Accordingly, the new settings are as follows: Very Low, Low, Medium, High, Epic

With this change, we've made a lot of optimization improvements and improved the game's appearance in the lowest quality.
We will continue to visually refresh and improve ContractVille. In the previous update, we updated the roads, trees and general colors. This update includes optimization improvements, NPC Character revamps, texture quality improvements, and more.

Hello Contractors!
Our work on the next major update, Roof & Porch, is ongoing, and we are feeling the excitement of approaching version 1.0. While our early access process continues, we are continuing to fix bugs, and we thank you very much for the bugs you have reported to us. In addition to our bug fixes, we are introducing the subbasement in this update to give the houses being built a more beautiful appearance. Additionally, we aim to make the game look better with the visual changes we have made in the city.
Along with these, I would like to share an image related to the Roof & Porch update with you. This update will be released very soon, and we will provide you with more detailed information about the gameplay.

[h2]Subbasement[/h2]
Now the buildings will have a sub-base. This is part of the current update. Unfortunately, the houses you have already built will not be updated in this way. The new houses you will build will have a view.
  • Houses currently under building can be problematic, so there's a workaround you can take to avoid being affected.
    We have opened a beta version called “old_public_0.5.2.3”. By joining this, you can complete your houses without any problems.

    Once your build is complete, you can revert to the current version, as your new builds will not have any issues. Your save files will not be affected in this case. You need to use the save from before you received the update.



[h2]City Adjustments[/h2]
The appearance of roads and trees has changed, and in general the color of everything in the city looks more beautiful. These colors are more vibrant. We hope you will like it.

  • Exterior Cladding Colliding Warning Inconsistency: The warning message "Colliding with other wallboard!" now only appears when attempting to install Exterior Cladding over an already placed wall, rather than just hovering over it.
  • Exterior Cladding Installation Over Windows: The game now properly blocks Exterior Cladding from being installed over Triple Windows (Type 4).
  • Exterior Cladding Missing SFX: Added or adjusted the volume of missing SFX for Exterior Cladding installation and demolition.
  • Scaffold Placement Mode Collision: Improved scaffold placement logic to prevent collision issues when stacking scaffolds.
  • Scaffold Stacking Issue: Adjusted scaffolding behavior to prevent stacking inside each other instead of correctly snapping into place.
  • Covering Stairs with Tiles: Fixed an exploit allowing tiles to be extended over stair gaps.
  • Railing Remains on Stair Ghost After Save/Load: Fixed an issue where railings remained visible after removing stairs and reloading the game.
  • Tiling Count Issue: Fixed an issue where breaking tiles reduced the count inconsistently.
  • Amount of Inner Wall Inconsistency: Resolved an issue where players could not complete inner wall construction due to missing placement options.
  • Ceiling Painting Color Inconsistency: Fixed an issue where ceiling painting could be completed with different colors than initially used.
  • Invisible Wall and Wall Insulation Issue: Adjusted structure handling to prevent issues related to invisible walls and insulation placement.


[h3]Navigation & Interaction Fixes[/h3]
  • Forest Navigation Inconsistencies: Fixed unstable navigation paths that could suddenly disappear or shift directions.
  • Office Navigation Inconsistencies: Improved navigation path generation in the Office area.
  • Invisible Wall and Wall Insulation Issue: Investigated and made adjustments to prevent an invisible wall issue affecting planner-built structures.
  • Player Stuck on Ball Spawner at Basketball Court: Players will no longer get stuck between the ball catchers when switching modes after collecting all spawned balls.
  • Taxi "I am Stuck" Issue: Resolved an issue where pressing the "I am Stuck" feature during a taxi ride before the black screen transition would cause the screen to remain stuck.


[h3]UI & Store Fixes[/h3]
  • Online Store UI Issue: Corrected UI miscalculations where product and shipping costs were not displaying the correct total.
  • Online Store Price Calculation Errors: Fixed an issue where item purchases resulted in significantly incorrect charges.
  • Finish Sign Modal / Tool Wheel Interaction: Resolved an issue where opening the Tool Wheel while interacting with a Finish Sign could cause UI elements to become unresponsive.


[h3]Physics & Object Interaction Fixes[/h3]
  • Trolley's Physics Stuck in Active State: Addressed inconsistencies causing the Trolley to behave unpredictably when unpacked on top of another object.
  • Trolley Client Interaction Issue: Fixed a bug where spamming the “E” key to control the Trolley caused it to become stuck in the client’s hands.
  • Parcel Demolish Phase Take Out Furniture Requirement: Fixed an issue where the mission required five additional furniture pieces to be removed beyond the actual count.
  • Double Door (Exterior) Material Inconsistency: Fixed material inconsistencies affecting certain Double Doors (Exterior) regarding Door | Frame and Door | Detail.
  • Camera Angle Distortion: Fixed an issue where moving the camera away while sitting in the barber’s chair caused the camera angle to be incorrect after getting up.


[h3]Environmental & World Fixes[/h3]
  • Visual Inconsistencies: Addressed multiple visual inconsistencies in various areas of the game world.
  • Underground Trash in Office Area: Repositioned two underground trash items that were uncollectable and corrected floating/clipping trash in the Office area.

  • Garden Path Fixes: Multiple bug fixes and improvements to Garden Path mechanics.
  • Garden Store Fixes: Multiple bug fixes and improvements to the Garden Store (Blossium Store).
