Hotel Tales is a work simulator where you play as an employee of a hotel on the crossing of worlds. Dive into breathtaking, chilling and amusing stories of your guests and colleagues, uncover the Hotel’s mysteries and try to make it until your probation ends!

🗝 Work in the Hotel

- Check-in: choose an appropriate room, accounting the guest’s wishes and likes.
- Room service: deliver food, go on errands and help with the guest’s everyday problems.
- Conflict resolution: solve complex situations between guests or colleagues - this will affect your relationship with them.

🗝 Interactive Elements

- Guests: their tasks will vary, from cooking unique recipes (such as potions) to helping find lost things (or guests!) in their rooms.
- Kicking back: you can have dinner with your guests and employees, have weekends to go on adventures with friends, engage in photography or collect stickers.

🗝 Social Interactions

- Relationships with colleagues: these can vary from friendly to romantic. Every character has their story and approach. How they develop is entirely up to you!
- Your choices made during the workday will impact not only the immediate environment, but the game’s ending.

🗝 Endings

- The ending depends on how good you performed your duties, who you developed a relationship with and what key choices you’ve made.
- Replayability: romantic endings, Hotel’s mysteries unraveling or even leading to it’s destruction (if things go horribly wrong). Collect them all!

There was a time when me and my programmer were hardly making ends meet, crunching on updates to deliver a fresh piece of plot to you. Now, we have enough staff to not only have consistent big updates, but make upgrades to the game in our free time. And not sacrifice our efficiency.

This is one of those upgrades. Eight remade animations to better immerse you in the game:

“Beach Episode” - a spin-off DLC

For many months, Mary was dying from her work from home, Christie was dying from boredom even with a book in her hand, and Kat was still working in the restaurant - and for what? To take a big breather, of course! And we only want to help a little, with a ticket to a beautiful lakeside beach. Under the sweltering sun and the shadows of gorgeous women’s silhouettes.

Of course, there will be other girls on this tourist site. Both us and the MC have to get ready for it. Stock up on sun cream, swimming trunks and make sure your inflatable ring does not deflate. We, in turn, will make sure to finish the DLC in time.

“Beach Episode” will have a complex location with many activities. The event is repeatable, so you can go there every weekend:
- 4 new locations;
- 5 familiar beauties ready for anything;
- 6+ animated scenes.



I’ve decided to make this event continuous and memorable. Most games chalk this event to the phrase “Let’s go!” - and here we are on the resort, having fun in the sea and applying sun cream to beautiful women. I don’t want the easy way out.

First, there’s a plot hook. A small quest, with the beach as the main reward.

The resort is a complex region made from several locations. I don’t know if timeskips make sense here yet. The plot I’m writing doesn’t take it into account. But there’s several familiar mini-games and a new one. I’m more busy with writing than art right now, so I’m sorry if I don’t have much to show. In the next five days, I’ll complete the design document for layout and dive into illustrating.



As I’ve said before, I’ve tasked the animator to animate earlier static scenes so that you won’t be bored in the meantime. Do you remember your night visits to Marisha? The shower peeping? Yeah! It only had two static shots per episode. Now it has full-on animation. We’re working on animating seven scenes in this way. Have a nice weekend :)
