July Dev Update

[p]Hey All,

Just wanted to say thanks a ton for the recent attention on the game![/p][p]Dragaea got a ton of wishlists over the course of this month and its really nice to see. Hello new players!

[/p][p]I've been taking down a lot of notes and fixed a lot based on your feedback, so please keep them coming.[/p][p]As for how the game is doing, I'm actually 90% done the game now. All the dungeons and Monsters are complete but I just need to finish off the Postgame Dungeon, extra Quality of Life features, and add in the rest of the Quests and Abilities before I can call the game finished.


[/p][p]I plan on releasing a follow up Demo by end of August or September, so hang tight. This demo will have a bit more to offer than the current demo, besides a ton of fixes and QoL, I'll also have a Gambling shop (similar to Diablo 2), Achievements, a better Wear Best feature, Unique Legendaries, and a balance overhaul (sorry White Magic players). [/p][p][/p][p]These icons and achievements aren't final[/p][p][/p][p]If you've read this far we have some sneak peeks of the Gambling Shop, and some of the later dungeons you'll be encountering in the full game.[/p][p][/p][p]Roll the dice on mystery equipment[/p][p]

Spring Demo Update Patch #6

CHANGES
  • Added tooltips to items, abilities, and perks when you hover your mouse over their buttons. You can even examine enemy abilities during combat if you hover your mouse over their abilities. (pc version only)
  • added volume sliders for music and sound effects.
  • Hype Up, the Waykin's racial ability, now gives White Magic exp on use.
  • Added links to Steam, Itch.io and Discord on the main menu screen.



FIXES
  • Fixed the cooldowns of utility items (before they would ready themselves instantly)
  • Fixed being able to use the same utility item loadout twice during a boss dungeon

CHANGES
  • Advantage Encounters now have a different song.
  • Decreased the Security Chance bonus of the Security Prowess perk to 0.5% per level from 1% per level.
  • Equipment, Abilities and Perks buttons in the stats menu now only appear if you upgrades your buildings enough.
  • Agility can no longer go below 1, At 0 or below, enemies would stop targeting you because of a divide by 0 error.
  • Added +5 points buttons to the Dungeon Upgrade menu



FIXES
  • Fixed the Sense Prowess perk giving you 20% Magic Find per level instead of the correct amount. (now 0.25% per level)
  • Fixed the Axe Prowess perk giving you 25% Melee Speed Bonus per level instead of the correct amount. (now 0.25% per level)
  • Fixed the Black Magic Prowess perk giving you 20% Magic Crit Chance per level instead of the correct amount. (now 0.2% per level)
  • Fixed the Block Prowess perk giving you 25% Physical Block Chance and Magical Block Chance per level instead of the correct amount. (now 0.25% per level)
  • Fixed the Item Lore Prowess perk giving you 100% Item Mastery per level instead of the correct amount. (now 1% per level)
  • Fixed the Katana Prowess perk giving you 20% Melee Crit Chance per level instead of the correct amount. (now 0.2% per level)
  • Fixed the White Magic Prowess perk giving you 25% Magic Speed Bonus per level instead of the correct amount. (now 0.25% per level)
  • Fixed not properly updating stats of all characters after purchasing guild upgrades or after resetting the guild upgrade board
  • Fixed the Barrier Charged perk's Max Barrier to Magic Power calculation (before it multiplied by your max barrier instead of giving you 25% of it)
  • Fixed quantity panel appearing in the dungeon results screen when you look at a material item.
  • Fixed Crystalized Azure Mana, Crystalized Crimson Mana, and Crystalized Gold Mana not transferring to your inventory when dropped from the Dark Elf Griffon boss. These crystals upgrade your utility items, capes and rings respectively.
  • Fixed 9-man party expeditions not working properly, before it would only send the first 3 characters, leaving the other 6 adventurers behind.
  • Fixed the descriptions of some perks.
  • Fixed some spelling mistakes. (I swear English is my first language)

  • Recalculates character IDs on loading a save file (to fix the rare issue where your adventurers share the same ID. You may have to reconfigure your parties if your save was affected)
  • Fixed the Tavern assigning a character id to a new Adventurer thats already in use
  • Fixed Utility Loadouts appearing from other saves if you loaded a new save afterward

CHANGES
  • Fixed Life Bonus and Barrier Bonus not working
  • Decreased Life Bonus, Barrier Bonus, Physical Block Chance, and Magical Block Chance rolls on equipment
  • Hidden Stock Training guild upgrade now restocks the town when purchased
  • Hidden Stock Training guild upgrade now multiplies the stack size of materials sold at the Labourer's Union by the amount of points put into the guild upgrade + 1
  • Increased the base stack size of all materials sold at the Labourer's Union from 5 to 10
  • Fixed the Refreshing Escape perk healing the enemy instead of you whenever you dodged
  • Fixed Hidden Stock Training guild upgrade duplicating equip items instead of stocking the shops with new equip items
  • Fixed basic Attack ability not being translated properly
  • Fixed constantly using Restoration and Rejuvination potions if you have someone in your party with 0 max barrier
  • Limited Imbue and Charge to 60 Ability Power (they can only charge abilities up to 60%, instead of 4930%)
  • Limited Haste and Slow to 60% (no more hasting for 300%)
  • Fixed Life and Barrier restoration calculations for Comforting Action, Barrier Builder and Life Builder perks
  • Fixed Life and Barrier restoration calculations for Defensive Healing and Defensing Recharging perks
  • Fixed the Utility Equip menu showing a ghost of your two handed weapon if you have no utilities equipped
  • Improved generation of Adventurers at the Tavern, they can now have favored skills they start with a high level
  • Many minor fixes and adjustments
