GTA Online's weekly update is a callback to the Freemode Events update

It do be that time of the week again. Every Thursday, we get the GTA Online weekly reset, which means a new host of bonuses and discounts to mull over in Los Santos. Usually, though, it involves someone on Twitter or Reddit cursing their luck as a car they bought last week is on discount this week. Rockstar typically posts the full rundown of each update on its Newswire later on in the day, but the update is already live, so people post what it entails online.

If you're looking to make some dosh this week, Freemode challenges and the Hunting Pack adversary mode is dishing out triple the usual reward. Both of these modes came to Los Santos in GTA Online's Freemode Events update back in 2015. The first is pretty self-explanatory and involves open-world quests that pop up every 12 minutes or so, around half a day in-game.

Hunting Pack, meanwhile, is a multiplayer mode that sees players split into three teams. One player has to escort a bomb, while the other players are divided up into attacks and defenders.

GTA Online's weekly update ups rewards for parachuting fans

It's both Thursday and April 1, which makes it GTA Online reset day on April Fool's Day - a most precarious position for us to be in. Thankfully, there doesn't seem to be any tomfoolery from Rockstar Games just yet, and the weekly refresh of bonuses and content has gone ahead in Los Santos as normal. Rockstar's newswire post arrives later in the day, though, so keep your head on a swivel.

This week is a good one to make some extra dosh if you're a fan of parachuting in GTA Online. The Drop Zone adversary mode is dishing out triple the usual reward, and regular parachuting missions are offering up double your standard reward. Rockstar added Drop Zone missions back in 2016, which task teams with leaping out of an aircraft and taking control of a zone. Standard parachuting missions are a simpler affair and merely involve navigating yourself through checkpoints as you drift to the ground.

If you're looking for something else to do, though, you can also get double rewards on biker sell missions. These ones are also a doddle and involve setting up a business and running supplies while out in the open world - just look out for parachuters.

GTA Online weekly update doubles rewards on Bikers content

It's a good week to pick up a new motorbike or make some extra money if you're into GTA Online's Bikers update. Rockstar Games refreshes the crime game's bonuses every week, but the update lands before the studio posts any patch notes. As such, players dip in and see what's new for themselves - why wait?

This week you're getting double the rewards on clubhouse contracts, club challenges, and MC work. You'll need to buy a clubhouse to do contracts, but the good news is they are discounted by 35% this week, so now is a good time to buy in if you haven't done so already - renovations are also 35% off if you're feeling fancy. Malc offers contract work once you're set up, though other players can interfere in it. It's heaps of fun.

Club challenges, meanwhile, offer competition among your crew and involve things like hitting the most vehicles with a biker melee within ten minutes. MC work, finally, is challenges against other clubs, such as Team Deathmatch. If you fancy doing something else entirely, you can also pick up double rewards doing the Deadline adversary mode. Everyone gets a chonking Tron bike that leaves a light trail. The catch, though, is that you'll lose a life if you cross someone else's trail.
