GTA Online weekly update adds new car the Classique Broadway

It's GTA Online weekly update time, and we've got all the details for you about the new car and Valentine's Day goodies available in Rockstar's biggest and best multiplayer game for the week of Feb 9-15. The Classique Broadway rolls into Los Santos along with a special love-themed livery and a selection of free gifts for logging into Grand Theft Auto 5, along with all the usual bonuses and rewards you'd expect, which we've laid out ahead of Rockstar's official patch notes.

Over the past few years of listening to gaming executives talk about the industry during earnings reports, I've found Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick to be one of the more circumspect bosses in the business. He's been relaxed about the rise of Xbox Game Pass, noting whenever he's asked about it that subscriptions are still a small part of the business, and he didn't declare NFTs to be the future of commerce five minutes after finding out about them. It's a low bar, but it's mildly refreshing to hear a tech exec respond to buzzwords with something other than a golden retriever's unconditional enthusiasm. Grand Theft Auto 5 is now safe to play on PC — you can go back to your heists worry-free

A recent update to Grand Theft Auto 5’s PC version has made the game safe to play, following the revelation of a potentially harmful security risk in the game.

This caused quite the commotion as many were worried that their accounts were at risk! Those affected by malicious actors would find themselves suspended above the clouds permanently, or with drastically altered player stats and drained bank accounts.

Released via a quick-patch on Wednesday, the update “Implemented a new data protocol in GTA Online to improve the security of network sessions and player-to-player messaging” according to an official post on the Rockstar support website. In addition, the update claims to have fixed an issue allowing players to alter other’s accounts, including GTA$, RP, and stats.

Inside the GTA 5 multiplayer spin-off, players are enjoying the Los Santos Drug Wars update, which brings new jobs and more to the game. However, the streets of Los Santos are deadly, and you'll need more than a Railgun to survive.
