GTA Los Santos Tuners Prize Ride challenges - what is the Prize Ride?

The GTA Online Los Santos Tuners update introduces plenty of new content, all focused on the city's underground tuner scene. There's a new 'social space', called the LS Car Meet, where you can show off your souped-up cars, race with fellow gearheads, and take on jobs - here's how to join the LS Car Meet in the Los Santos Tuners update.

Throughout your time spent in the Car Meet, you can level up your reputation and unlock new benefits as you progress. There's also a huge Test Track inside the warehouse, where you can try out Test Rides - a great opportunity to take different vehicles for a spin.

Becoming an LS Car Meet member sets you back $50,000 in-game bucks, but it grants you access to a bunch of underground shops - the Merch Shop, Tattoo Shop, and a Modding Area where you can tweak your car in real time. At higher levels, you can create your own customised area in the Car Meet, called a Private Takeover. LS Car Meet members can also compete in Prize Ride challenges, in order to be in with a chance to win a Prize Ride.

How to join the GTA LS Car Meet

Wondering how to start the Los Santos Tuners content in GTA Online? When you start up the game, you should receive a text from Mimi talking about the LS Car Meet - this is the shared social space where you can show off your personalised vehicles to other people. To join the LS Car Meet, Mimi tells you to head to Cypress Flats. There's a warehouse in this area that emits revving noises as you approach the main entrance, you're able to enter on foot or in a vehicle.

Entering the warehouse plays a cutscene which shows off some of the custom cars from the Los Santos locals. Here you're formally introduced to Mimi, the founder of the LS Car Meet. Guns are strictly off limits in the LS Car Meet, so you don't have to worry about anyone trying to ruin the vibe as you show off your decked out vehicles.

Speak to Mimi if you want to get started on some missions - Sessanta and KDJ, two of the best gearheads in Los Santos are looking for a partner to help out on numerous jobs. You won't be able to place your cars in any of the Auto Shop spaces until you complete the first batch of missions.

All of the new GTA cars in the Los Santos Tuners update

Want to know what all of the new GTA Los Santos Tuners cars are? Inspired by the underground street racing culture that's seen in the earlier Fast and Furious movies, the new update brings Tuner-based missions and races, as well as the LS Car Meet - a shared space in Cypress Flats where you can show off your custom ride with fellow car enthusiasts, race each other in the streets of Los Santos, and maybe pick up some jobs from the shadier members.

Of course, an update about tuning cars wouldn't be complete without some brand new vehicles to show off. In GTA Los Santos Tuners, there are a total of 15 cars, and two bikes. It's unclear whether you have to jump through hoops to unlock them at the moment, but members of the LS Car Meet will get opportunities to compete challenges to win GTA Los Santos Tuners prize rides, so chances are you may need to put some work in for the best cars.

So step into our showroom as we have several GTA Los Santos Tuners cars on display, as well as the full list of all of the new vehicles coming when the GTA Los Santos Tuners release date arrives next week.

GTA 5 car meets: everything you need to know about the new Los Santos Tuners event

Grand Theft Auto 5 is now eight years old, and during that time, players have built up an impressive collection of cars. From the slick super cars to the drop dead gorgeous classics, GTA 5 players have spent an obscene amount of money on pimping their cars - and they naturally want to show them off.

Introducing GTA 5 car meets. Up until now, car meets in Los Santos have been happening in an unofficial capacity, allowing petrolheads to come together to show off their latest upgrades. However, since these are unofficial events, players have either had to go in passive mode or risk having their entire line up blown up by someone in a Hydra.

But the risk of attending one of these events has been lowered with the GTA Online Summer Event. Rockstar's new update for the game includes the Los Santos Car Meet, giving fans a proper way of channelling their inner Fast and Furious.
