GTA Online weekly update quadruples rewards on one mode

It's Thursday in Los Santos, folks, and that means it's GTA Online weekly update day. Rockstar Games will post the official rundown on its Newswire later in the day, though the update is already live, so people have jumped in to see what's new.

If you're looking to raise money or grind reputation points, the Cross the Line adversary mode may be the best bet over the next seven days as rewards are quadrupled. If you've been out of the loop, the PvP mode was added to the online crime game in the Freemode Events update back in 2015. The way it works is simple; two teams battle to cross the line before the other. When we think about it, the mode sounds like something you might see in Squid Game.

If you're looking for new wheels to stick in your garage, the latest GTA Online Prize Ride challenge will net you the Dinka Jester Classic, which typically costs $790,000 in GTA bucks. You'll need to win one Street Race Series race for four days in a row to claim this one. Are you feeling lucky? The GTA Online podium vehicle is the Schlagen GT this week.

GTA Online weekly update boosts rewards on VIP and bodyguard work

The GTA Online weekly update is here, folks, and that can only mean it's Thursday. Rockstar Games will post the full notes on the Newswire later today, though the update is already live, so fans are dipping into Los Santos to see what's worth doing this week.

You're getting triple the usual in-game cash and reputation points on associate and bodyguard work alongside stunt races. Rockstar is also boosting the rewards on VIP and motorcycle club work by double. If you've been out of the loop, MC work applies to specific missions like Joust, Stand Your Ground, and Caged In. VIP and Bodyguard work, meanwhile, was introduced back in the Executives and Criminals update back in 2016.

If you're looking for a new set of wheels, the GTA Prize Ride is the Hakuchou Drag, which you can earn by finishing in the top three of five pursuit races. The GTA Podium Vehicle, meanwhile, is the Savestra - more luck is involved in that one, but this might just be your week.

Now you can ride your real bike around Grand Theft Auto in multiplayer

One of the coolest mod ideas is GTBike V, which basically lets you turn Grand Theft Auto V into Zwift, pedalling a bike in the real world to ride a virtual bike around Los Santos. Now a new version has added multiplayer, letting you trundle around the same city independently or join up for group rides. It almost makes me want to get the kit to hook my bike up.
