GTA Online: The Cluckin’ Bell Farm Raid Now Available

Corrupt cops. Killer cartels. The aroma of factory-farmed poultry. Take down an illegal narcotics operation hiding behind one of the nation’s biggest fast-food processing plants in The Cluckin’ Bell Farm Raid — the newest action-packed update to GTA Online, available today.

Since getting relieved from his post as Head of Security at The Diamond Casino & Resort, Vincent Effenburger has traded in his mall cop uniform for a Los Santos Police Department badge and gun. But the corruption of the LSPD runs deep, and Vincent’s already tired of fetching coffee for crooked cops on the take.

Now, he’s intent on sticking it to the city’s mercenary police force in his own way, and has it on good authority that a drug cartel is moving imported cocaine out of Cluckin’ Bell’s facilities in Paleto Bay while the LSPD has promised to turn a blind eye in exchange for a cut of the action.

To prepare for this operation, you’ll need to build a slush fund of laundered money, obtain your preferred weapons and gear, and get your hands on vital intel about the inner workings of the farm’s facilities — along with other mission-critical decisions that will determine your approach.

Once you’ve lined everything up, you’ll need to infiltrate Cluckin’ Bell’s factory farm complex and make off with the haul, boosting your own notoriety while knocking the cartel and the city’s corrupt law enforcement officers down a few pegs in the process.

The Cluckin' Bell Farm Raid is playable completely solo from start to finish, or with up to three other players.

BRAVADO GAUNTLET INTERCEPTOR

The Bravado Gauntlet Interceptor Law Enforcement Vehicle is an already ferocious cop car with additional muscle crammed under the hood for improved pursuit capabilities. You’ll need to complete the introduction of The Cluckin’ Bell Farm Raid as a Leader to unlock access to the Gauntlet Interceptor. Completing the Raid’s Finale as Leader will unlock its Trade Price.

NEW CANIS TERMINUS

The Canis Terminus is a new rough and rugged four-wheel drive Off-Road vehicle, upgradable with Imani Tech options including a Remote Control Unit or Missile Lock-On Jammer to further enhance its versatility, both on and off the pavement. Available at Southern San Andreas Super Autos and also on display at the Luxury Autos showroom.

Plus, there’s a new Vapid Benson commercial delivery truck decked out in full Cluckin’ Bell branding, available from Warstock Cache & Carry. Unlock the Trade Price by disrupting the cartel's supply lines and completing Disorganized Crime as Leader.

GET THE CLUCKIN’ BELL CAP AND MORE THIS WEEK

In addition to the standard take, successfully executing The Cluckin’ Bell Farm Raid this week will fulfill the new Weekly Challenge and garnish players with an additional GTA$100,000 and the Cluckin’ Bell Cap.

Also, Hunting Pack is paying out 2X GTA$ and RP through March 13, while Motor Wars and Running Back modes both return to GTA Online. There’s also new Salvage Yard Robbery Targets, an assortment of showroom vehicles, discounts, and more.

As we all expected, GTA Online's next big heist's about...helping the police and shooting up a chicken factory

The trailer for the next big update that’s coming to GTA Online has just dropped, and what’s Rockstar got in store for us this time? Well, it’s helping out non-corrupt law enforcement and seeing how chicken burgers get made.

Yup, if you’re looking for something GTA-ish to do while you wait for more news on GTA 6 that isn’t just about its developers not being too happy about being forced to return to the office, GTA Online’s gonna try its level best to put you off your next fast food order. To be fair, you will get to kill a few corrupt cops in nice muscle cars as a trade-off.

The next big heist you’ll be able to take on as you fight to avoid just being the landlord of half of the properties in Los Santos who occasionally gets blown up on the freeway is called “The Cluckin’ Bell Farm Raid” and it’s set to arrive on March 7 across console and PC. If the name seems familiar, it should be. The new missions are based around the factory farm owned and operated by Cluckin Bell - you know, the series staple restaurant that once faced that daunting task of fulfilling Big Smoke’s order.

Unsurprisingly, GTA 6 devs aren't too keen on Rockstar's "reckless" decision to drag them back to the office

After Rockstar Games reportedly asked its employees working on GTA 6 - a small upcoming release you might have heard of - to return to in-office working once April arrives, a number of the company’s developers have made clear just how unhappy they are about that idea.

If you’re out of the loop, according to a report from Bloomberg, the order has been given for Rockstar staff to return to working in actual offices five days a week - rather than remotely or on a hybrid basis - as the studio kicks into the final stages of GTA 6’s development. In the internal email communicating the change, the company’s head of publishing Jenn Kolbe apparently cited productivity and security - remember all those leaks - as the main reasons for the sudden need to inconvenience people.

You’ll probably not be surprised to learn that a number of those people aren’t too happy about the change, which is currently set to come into effect on April 15, with several having now spoken out via the The Independent Workers’ union of Great Britain (IWGB), a UK-based union that’s criticised it. In a post on the IWGB’s website, several anonymous Rockstar employees who’re represented by the union offer their views, with one referring to working from home as a “lifeline for many” that’s now being taken away.
