GTA Cayo Perico Heist - all points of interest

What are all the points of interest in the Cayo Perico Heist? The new GTA heist is now live and there's plenty of prep to be done on the new tropical island of Cayo Perico.

For those unfamiliar with GTA heists, this grand heist arrives alongside all new vehicles and Cayo Perico Heist weapons - it's a new, daring challenge in which you must retrieve some sought after files, as well as a hefty reward. To successfully pull off the heist, you'll need to prepare, and that means scouting the island for points of interest and gathering intel - from scoping out escape routes, to noting where all the security cameras are placed around El Rubio's massive complex.

It's made a little easier by having your good friend Pavel on the other end of the communicator to give you instructions and point you in the right direction - but finding these points of interest can still be a little tricky. Here's how to find all six points of interest and complete this intel mission. You'll also need to snap a picture on your phone of each one to successfully gather the intel.

GTA Online's Christmas update brings snow and more cars to Los Santos

It's the most wonderful time of the week, and the year it seems, for the denizens of Los Santos. GTA Online's weekly updates are currently coming around on a Tuesday now instead of Thursday since, well, the Cayo Perico update launched last week on December 15. Regardless, though, people are sticking their heads in to see what's new as the Christmas update is here.

First off, it's snowing! Rockstar brings winter to Los Santos each December, and it's one of those lovely wee events that gives me a burst of nostalgia. It's a minor tweak to your usual routines in GTA Online, but it's still fun to take to the streets and lob snowballs at people before they inevitably lob a hand grenade back at you. There's also a heap of festive goodies such as masks and ugly sweaters to ring in the festivities, too.

There's plenty of other new content to piggyback off the recent Cayo Perico update on top of that. You can now buy the Itali RSX and Veto Modern cars for $2,598,750 and $995,000 in-game, respectively. The Brioso 300 is also available for free if you want to get a new pair of wheels for nothing. If you need to raise some dosh and are bored with the latest heist, then you can get double the rewards for doing the In and Out adversary mode.

GTA Cayo Perico Heist vehicles - all cars, planes, and boats

What are the new cars and vehicles in the GTA Cayo Perico Heist? The latest GTA update is now live and has us take on a grand heist on a brand new island, Cayo Perico.

It's a dangerous venture, and one that you can choose to go at alone or with friends. Scoping out the joint, finding all the points of interest, and plotting the infiltration is made a little easier by all the new vehicles available - including a bright red submarine to plan the heist, as well as new planes and airships to reach your destination. You can also customise your submarine, choosing your own colour, flag, sonar station, moon pool vehicles, and a weapon workshop.

Most of the vehicles we've found so far are available at Warstock Cache and Carry, with the submarine setting you back over 2 million. There are, however, vehicles to hijack around the island, but of course that's not the sneakiest approach. Here are all the new vehicles we've seen so far.

It's also the biggest heist to date, taking us to a whole new area of the map, a tropical island for a bit of sun, sea, and scoping out the joint to successfully infiltrate it for goodies.

The new island isn't without its perils, including an owner who doesn't hesitate to feed those who wrong him to his pet panther. That means you'll have to approach the heist carefully, meticulously planning each step in your brand new and customisable submarine.

What is the GTA Cayo Perico Heist payout?

What is the payout for successfully completing the GTA Cayo Perico Heist? If you're new to heists, this update is a great place to jump in. With a whole new island to explore, as well as new enemies and challenges - the GTA Cayo Perico Heist can be played solo, or with friends.

This is the first time players can take on a heist solo, so when the final payout arrives you won't have to dish it out among you, instead you can sail off in your submarine to spend your well earned cash on whatever tickles your fancy.

In the last Casino heist we had diamonds and a big wad of cash as the reward, and this time around we have... files? However, those files happen to be worth $1,100,000 and that's not the only draw towards this heist. You can also loot and find extra opportunities called Secondary Targets, such as storage lockups and hidden stashes of cash that can amount to a pretty penny. Just how much? Here's what you can expect from the final payout in the Cayo Perico Heist.
