Here's what to do in GTA Online if a hacker turns you into a giant ball

It's always a bit... deflating to log into Grand Theft Auto Online and find that you've been targeted by hackers. There are any number of ways for cheaters to ruin your GTA Online experience - they could at one point even instantly kill you when you spawned in, and even now they're still putting people in cages. But what about when you're hit with something that's a little less disruptive and just flat out strange? One Redditor's answer was just to roll with it.

Redditor FragzinS was hopping in to GTA Online the other day for a casual afternoon of robbing banks or something (who knows, people get up to some weird stuff in GTA Online). Suddenly FragzinS discovered they had been encased in a large orange ball that completely obscured their character model and made it impossible to go through doors.

The solution? Hop on a motorcycle and crank some Creedence Clearwater Revival. FragzinS climbed on their Bati 801 and went screaming around the Grand Senora Desert, ball be damned. There's something glorious about a large orange ball with 'BIG' written on it flying over ridges and up dirt trails to the tune of Fortunate Son.

The best sandbox games on PC in 2020

The best sandbox game is difficult to nail down, as the sandbox style is spread across countless genres with disparate mechanics and settings. But all sandboxes share a common trait: freedom. Whether it's creating a whole world or building up a gang of criminals across a city, sandbox games leave most of the agency up to the player. They are universes to be experienced at a pace not dictated by developers.

There needs to be a bit of clarity when looking at what makes a great sandbox game, though. They have, since the days of Elite and Ultima, referred to open-world games filled with choice and diversions. But revisionist history would describe them as "games like Minecraft". For the purposes of this exploration of the best of the bunch, we're taking a look at them all. We support sandbox egalitarianism.

So from the mean streets of Los Santos, through the ruthless missions of Agent 47, to the stunning expanse of Eve's universe, these are the very best sandbox games on PC.

Finally, a GTA 5 mod that lets you visit Bahama Mamas

If you've been itching to see the inside of Bahama Mamas West location in Los Santos, you're in luck: there's a swish looking GTA 5 mod for that. The nightclub is closed through the story of Grand Theft Auto V, but with NaturalVision Evolved's July update, it becomes a nightlife hub once again. The mod also features some superb visual enhancements, so read on.

So bad news first: this isn't a free mod. To use NaturalVision Evolved, you'll need to support creator Razed's Patreon. There are four membership tiers ranging from $1-$15 per month, and at higher tiers you get access to additional features. All levels come with special access to Razed's Discord server.

That out of the way, let's take a look at the July update. Bahama Mamas is finally open for business, and you can head in during the evening to rub elbows with Los Santos' club set. Grab a drink, or head to the dance floor - if you allow your character to idle there, they'll spontaneously break into dance themselves (warning: if you're playing as Trevor this may be extremely upsetting).

GTA V RP community raises over $40,000 and creates in-game tribute to Blue622

The Grand Theft Auto V role-playing community has raised well over $40,000 and left a fitting tribute in the NoPixel server to Kenny 'Blue622' Tancredi, who died unexpectedly earlier this week at the age of 30.

Blue622 was credited with popularising the NoPixel server and GTA V role-playing in general after introducing top streamers such as Jaryd 'Summit1g' Lazar to it. The news of his death sent shockwaves through the role-playing community, but they have rallied to raise over $40,000 on a GoFundMe page that will go towards a memorial monument for his gravesite, with the rest being passed on to "others in Kenny's memory." This included a $5,000 donation from Summit1g.

To commemorate Blue622, GTA V players gathered at the location of his house in the NoPixel server. A Reddit post also shows that the developers of the server have coded Blue622's character model and car to be outside the house permanently in his memory.
