Whether you’re a content creator, or you just want to share a clutch play with some friends, we’ve temporarily lifted our Non-Disclosure Agreement while the demo is available.

That means you’re free to livestream, record and post your gameplay, and discuss your Last Flag matches whenever and however you’d like, from now until September 1. If you’ve got a clip you’re particularly proud of, make sure to tag @playlastflag on your favorite social platform, because we’d love to see it too!

Once the demo concludes on September 1, Last Flag will re-enter closed playtesting. If you’d like to continue playing and sharing feedback with the Night Street team, you’ll need a playtesting invitation. When I was presented with a preview opportunity for Last Flag, I’ll admit I was skeptical. Based on the initial pitch I had read, I wondered if a game based solely around “Capture the Flag” would have legs strong enough to support its weight. Look, I grew up playing Halo, and I love a good game of Capture the Flag as much as the next guy, but I didn’t think I’d play a game where that was the only game mode.

But once I sat down with the team at Night Street Games to get a little rundown of the game and play a couple of rounds, my opinion changed fast. “It’s capture the flag,” said Co-Founder and CEO of Night Street Games, Mac Reynolds. “It’s trying to kind of recreate that childhood experience of actual hiding and fighting in the forest, in a way that we got a taste of with some of our favourite CTF game modes, but never really saw evidence of a full Capture the Flag game.”

[p]Since our announcement at Summer Game Fest in June, the Night Street Games team has been working hard to get Last Flag ready to welcome in lots of new flag runners.[/p][p]Late last week, we kicked off a small initial round of alpha playtest invites, and now we’re ready to ramp things up. This week, we’ve sent out a much larger invite wave ahead of our next playtest on August 8.[/p][h3]
Accept Your Invite and Grab Your Steam Key[/h3][p]Be sure to check the email address you used to sign up for playtesting on the Last Flag website. If you were included in this round, there’s an invite email from our friends at FirstLook.gg waiting in your inbox. Click the “View Invite” button to begin the brief onboarding process. FirstLook will walk you through signing the Non-Disclosure Agreement, linking your Steam and Discord accounts, and then grant you a playtesting key to redeem on Steam.[/p][p][/p][h3]Get Ready to Play(test)![/h3][p]Once you’ve completed onboarding, you’re in! You can participate in any Last Flag playtests that fit your schedule between now and launch. [/p][p]Our next playtest will run from Friday, August 8 at 10:00 a.m. PT (1:00 p.m. ET / 17:00 UTC) until 8:00 p.m. PT (11:00 p.m. ET / 03:00 UTC).[/p][p]We coordinate all playtesting in the Last Flag Discord server.
