Update v0.17

[h2]New Features:[/h2]


  • Photon Jet Engine: A brand-new engine that adds more variety to the selection of ship engines.
  • Advanced Ship Systems: New engines such as Ion engine MK2, Ion engine MK3, Photon jet engine MK2, and Photon jet engine MK3 are now available.
  • Ship Weight and Thrust: Ships now have specific weights, and engines have thrust values that affect the ship's speed.
  • Shipyard Display: Both ship weight and speed are now displayed in the shipyard.
  • Credit Production: Credits now continue to be generated while you're inside a sector.


[h2]Optimizations:[/h2]


  • UI Update: Tooltips have been reworked to show more information and can now also include thumbnails.
  • Pirate Ships: The structural integrity of pirate ships has been updated.
  • Nebula Resources: Resource distributions within nebulae have been adjusted.
  • Cost Adjustment: The cost of the "Advanced Mining Laser" ship system has been rebalanced.
  • Atlas Carrier: The Atlas Carrier now has two additional system slots for engines.

  • Galactic Trade: Fixed an issue where buying or selling items in bulk (10x) only charged for one item.
  • Ship System UI: Fixed an issue where the UI was not responding to player input when installing ship systems.

  • I've added new pirate ships that will present a greater challenge. They are stronger, faster, and move in larger groups—so stay alert!
  • You can now encounter various collectible nebulae in different sectors. These nebulae contain valuable resources that you can harvest with the right equipment.
  • New planets and moons have been added to the game, enhancing the visual diversity and atmosphere of the galaxy.

  • Space stations now appear more frequently in sectors. This gives you more opportunities to restock or trade without having to search for a station for too long.
  • Research costs have been rebalanced. This adjustment ensures a fairer and smoother progression without disrupting the gameplay flow.

The Story Mode for Astrosphere is coming soon!

I'm currently working hard on the story mode for Astrosphere, which will guide you as a player and add more structure and purpose to the gameplay. My first focus is on developing the story for the beginning of the game, ensuring that you have a smooth and immersive introduction.

In the next phase, I'll be gradually adding more story elements for the mid and endgame, offering exciting twists and challenges as you progress further into the game.

Update v0.15

I'm excited to introduce the latest update! This update brings several key changes that will make your gameplay even more engaging. You'll need to manage your resources more carefully and take a more strategic approach. Here are the details:


  • Various resources are now required to purchase upgrades, research, or other items. This change encourages a more tactical approach and requires better resource management.
  • Asteroids and moons have been adjusted to match different danger levels.
  • Tutorial texts have been updated to provide a better onboarding experience.
  • Galactic trade updated: Collectible resources can now only be sold, not purchased.
  • Balancing adjustments for various costs.
  • Tutorial UI updated for a more user-friendly experience.
  • Fixed a bug with the star map where searching for sectors no longer increases the star map level.
  • Fixed a bug in the tutorial that prevented progress.
