We just released the version 1.0.3,
a small update containing mostly bug fixes and balance adjustments.
Thank you for sharing your feedbacks and issues with us.

[h3]Adjustments:[/h3]
  • Enemies parameter adjustments
    • Reinforced Lab Rat: lower attack, stamina and resistance to status effects
    • Experimental Manufacturer (Rat generator): lower HP
    • Combat Puppet: No. 20, 14, 56 ("Arena Tower" mini bosses): lower HP to increase tempo of the battle sequence
    • Combat Puppet: No. 7 ("Arena Tower" boss): lower the power of some attacks
    • Other small adjustments on various enemies
  • Add platforms in the "Crimson Forest" area to allow for better shortcuts
  • Add visual representation of the general teleportation direction on warp points for easier navigation
  • Lower the effectiveness of some skills of "Lorna"
  • Brush up of some background visuals


[h3]Bug fixes:[/h3]
  • Fix the map completion that was not rendered properly on some GPU*
  • In the area "Land of origin", concerning a specific growth:
    • Fix the visibility state that would sometimes stay invisible
    • change the geometry of the level to make the growth easier to break, especially on low FPS machines
  • Fix the BGM of the boss in the "Magicite Mine" area
  • Parry actions:
    • Fix player collision size after parry actions that could stay bigger than normal for a few frames
    • Fix parry actions that were not resetting airborne action count correctly
  • Translations and texts fixes
  • Various small behaviour, visual and animation fixes


We will continue to make fixes and improvements to make ENDER MAGNOLIA an enjoyable experience.

* While we believe the bug is fixed, we couldn't test many GPU yet.
If the bug is still present in the latest version, please try to launch the game
using either "-dx11" or "-vulkan" as a launch option through Steam
while we work on fixing it.

and would like to make a small announcement regarding the next small update we are planning.

Besides bug fixes and small adjustments, we want to highlight the next changes that will be in 1.0.3:
  • The enemy "Reinforced Lab Rat" will have its parameters lowered, which should make their swarm easier to manage
  • "Crimson Forest" will have new platforms to allow for better shortcuts

Thanks to everyone's support, we were able to release the full version of ENDER MAGNOLIA: Bloom in the Mist.
We received a lot of feedbacks and opinions from players during the early access, and would like to thank everyone for sharing your views on the game.

As an early access game, if you bought the game already,
the conversion to full version will be done automatically at no charge.

As we have previously announced, the areas accessible during early access
were slightly modified due to adjustments and tutorial changes.
As a result, save data from the early access can not be used in the full version.

We are planning to add the following features in a future update.

  • after clearing the game, replaying the game while conserving the player state (New Game+)

To accompany the release of the full version, the soundtrack is now also available on steam.
Following on from ENDER LILIES, all of the music has been composed by the group "Mili".

First, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for supporting us throughout Early Access.

The thoughts and opinions we received from everyone were incredibly helpful. Your feedback fuels the development team as they work hard to complete the final touches, making ENDER MAGNOLIA: Bloom in the Mist even better than before.

We have an announcement and an apology to make.

As a result of all the improvements and adjustments we have made, the parts of the game available throughout Early Access have changed considerably. Some of these improvements for the 1.0 release include a tutorial cutscene, changed item locations, adjustments to the map display, and level design revisions.

While we believe this was the right decision to improve ENDER MAGNOLIA: Bloom in the Mist, unfortunately, these changes mean that players who joined us in Early Access will have to start over, as save data will not carry over to the 1.0 version.

We understand this will disappoint some players, but we ask for your understanding. Our highest priority is giving you the best, highest-quality version of ENDER MAGNOLIA: Bloom in the Mist, and this difficult, yet necessary decision resulted from that goal.

We sincerely apologize for making this announcement with only one month left until release. However, we are confident that we will deliver an excellent experience for both fans of the series and newcomers who have never played our games before.

At Binary Haze Interactive, our guiding principle in development is to do our utmost to make “fun” and “beautiful” games. Keeping this in mind, we are putting all our effort toward the January 23 (JST) full release of ENDER MAGNOLIA: Bloom in the Mist.

0.5.1 Patch note

Thank you for playing ENDER MAGNOLIA and helping us into making it a better game.
The team is currently working hard on the development of the game to make sure it meets your expectations.

We are updating the game to 0.5.1 with a focus on bug fixes,
and we would like to use this opportunity to address the main topics of discussion we see coming often:

Regarding the areas that are currently playable in the early version of the game
At the time of the full release, we plan to expand on those area a bit by adding more discoverable items and changing the terrain.
We will continue to brush up those areas to make exploration more engaging.

Regarding the game's difficulty
We are aiming for a more linear difficulty, with the difficulty ramping up progressively through the game.
The future areas should offer more challenging battles.
If you are worried about the difficulty, we plan to have different difficulty settings that can be changed at any time to your liking.

Regarding cutscenes
We are aware of the subtitles displaying too fast in most language, and are planing to correct this.

  • Set VSYNC to be enabled by default to avoid unnecessary resource usage
  • Fixed the "Fast Travel" button the map menu that didn't reflect correctly the binding of "confirm" button
  • Fixed a freeze that could happen when changing area and pausing the game at the same time
  • Map display fixes
    - When a zone is complete and turns blue, it will now display the map change interaction points
  • Fixed "Fast Travel", "Back To Respite" that could be used during a map change interaction
  • Fixed the controller type recognition after disconnecting / reconnecting a controller
  • Fixed other minor UI-related bugs.
