[h2]New Among Us x WHAT THE CAR? content![/h2]

that's live right now! (and technically has been since Thursday but eh, time isn't real anyways).

A car, a crewmate and a seagull walk into a fungle... if you think that's the beginning to a bad joke, you're right.

In the newest Car-mong Us update, you'll find:

new overworld map with Fungle Theme!
hand-picked player made levels
little secrets and silly dialogue

(Horrifying worm-like level we came across in our player-level hunt! This is apparently what happens when you give players free will)

⚒ CHANGES & FIXES ⚒

● Changed the "DAILY LEVEL" to show hand-picked player made levels! So now YOUR level might get featured as the daily level!

Yes, this does mean the previous levels there are removed from the game & the Ghost Car... Let us know in the comments what you think of this change! Also also, definitely share your levels here or on Discord in #car-share-your-level and we might consider them for the roster!!!

Changes and fixes
● Fixed some crowns not displaying properly on UGC levels that had been won
● Adjusted the length of leaderboards to only show top 100 on all tabs
● Fixed a bug that would cause the sasquatch to float away from the car when sitting
on it
● Fixed a bug that would display post-its as blank when they are supposed to say
"dum"
● Fixed the flickering in the fog in some levels before ejecting from the cannon
● Fixed some props clipping into other props in various places
● Fixed some UGC levels not displaying a crown on the entry point after winning
● Fixed some specials showing as "completed" when they were not yet completed

Try to challenge yourself by completing enough levels to get elusive 🌈rainbow skin🌈. Why pick ONE color for CAR when you can be ALL of them!



New things cooking, especially Quality of Life changes (like the elevator/dungeon remapping!)

The engine of an unnamed spaceship has been struck by a meteor and of course it's your job, little car, to get it fixed. Untangle spaghetti wires, divert power from somewhere to somewhere else, and keep an eye out for any weird behavior.

Time to focus on the real star of the show, our humble and beloved BOOSTER! ⏩⏩⏩

We've added more super-speed cars for the all-boosters level creation challenge so don't drag your feet or you'll get left behind.

Also in this update:

• Don’t be scared, but we've swapped episode 2 and 3 around - now you gotta WORK before you can SPORT
  
• We are welcoming more bears in episode 2 so go and say hi! 🐻
  
• When you've played a community level, we will now serve you a similar one so you don't have to hunt for one on your own. It’ll pop up as a “Play Next” button after levels. Let me know what you think!

Is 2025 feeling like its been a whole year already? Looking for something to get you to smile?

WHAT THE CAR? is a part of the Laughs & Smiles Game Festival, a digital showcase celebrating games that might just bring that spark of life back into you - any chance to get a little giggle! We could all need that.

The event is hosted on Steam and will between January 30th and February 6th.
