Here's a rundown of some of the major changes in today's update!
- New Game Mode: Zombie Evolution
It's our first new game mode in a while. Experience the evolution of battle between humans and zombies in the newly added map, Zombie Junk House.
- Event: Zombie Evolution Launch Celebration
Complete daily missions during the event and get various rewards, such as Epic Decoders. We'll also hold events where you can get Transcendent Living Weapons and Special Weapons, so don't miss out.
- Event: Zombie Evolution Welcome Event (8/5 - 8/19)
New and returning players get an extra reward! Get a Zombie Evolution Reward Box, with various items in it, just by playing for 10 minutes. The Parts Weapon Selection Box that you can get as a gift has also been upgraded.
- Shop: Unique Magic Rod Weapons Rate-Up Promotion (8/5 - 8/19)
To celebrate the launch of Zombie Evolution, the rates for Shining Heart Rod and Starlight Rolling Shooter will be increased x3.

New Zombie Evolution Mode UpdateIt's our first new game mode in a while! Join this endlessly evolving battle between humans and zombies, where the S Virus changes everything.
- Background
- Despite efforts to stop Kronos Inc.'s Super Soldier Project, experiments continued. The S Virus, a new pathogen based on the Z Virus, has been discovered.
- In small quantities, the S Virus lets humans use the powerful abilities of zombies without losing their intellect.
- Kronos has been creating powerful boss zombies using the new virus. Agents tried their best to prevent this, but the S Virus was leaked during this process.
- Now, a new battle between two sides using the S Virus unfolds.

- Basic Rules
- Win Conditions
- Zombies: Infect all humans
- Humans: Survive until the round ends
- New Rule
- Zombies get infinite respawns. However, the respawn timer is increased if killed by Deadly Shot.
- You can use powerful abilities by collecting and using S Virus.
- Obtaining the Virus
- Humans: Obtain S Virus when you score zombie kills or assists, or when you survive for a certain duration. The less humans remaining, the more you obtain.
- Zombies: Obtain virus when you infect humans, or when you score human kills or assists. You can also get virus from Virus Essence that other zombies leave when they die.
- Virus Stages
- Your virus stage is displayed in the center of the screen. Virus stage tops out at stage 10 and persists until the end of the match.
- Virus Effects
- Your basic stats increase with your virus stage. (You can see your current stats by pressing L.) When zombies reach a high virus stage, their respawn time is slightly increased.
- Virus Injection
If you reach a certain virus stage (stage 2 for humans, stage 7 for zombies), press V to inject the virus into your body. This consumes virus stages but gives you new abilities.
- Humans: Can inject up to 2 times to randomly obtain a zombie ability. This also grants a resistance to infection from zombies. The virus disappears from your body over time.
- Zombie: Injecting the virus will transform you into a powerful mutant zombie. There are 2 types of mutant zombies, chosen at random.
- Brutus: Has strong HP and Defense. Though it is slow, it is not knocked back or stunned by normal guns.
- Arachne: Has a skill that allows quick movement. It can attack humans with double-jump and use spider webs to move in unexpected ways.

Zombie Evolution Launch Celebration (8/5 - 9/2)Accomplish daily missions given during the event. Each day in which you complete a mission counts towards your rewards. Please note that the types of rewards are different in each event period and that the cumulative days are reset at the end of each period.
