A Murder Miners farewell update for those who truly believe:

  • Xbox One version coming soon! Well Microsoft finally came to their senses and accepted Murder Miners 1 on their current console. We’ve taken a long break from working on Murder Miners X to create the ultimate version of MM1 for XBone (which will launch next week we’re hoping), and we’re bringing the additions to y'all on Steam ahead of time as a free update. Ain’t life grand?

    (You may have to restart steam to get the update. Check "Updates" in the main menu and look for "Update 30" to make sure you got it.)

    (Mac and Linux versions will also be updated soon.)

  • Believer’s Pack DLC! On sale now, 40% off!

  • Zombienaut Mode! The first miner to get a kill transforms into the dreaded ZOMBIENAUT: A gigantic, hulking terror of doom and disgustion. Murder the Zombienaut to become him yourself.



  • Murder Royale! We’re all about innovation and trendsetting here at JForce Games...Will you be the last miner standing?



  • 4 player local and online split screen added! Looks like one of our fans finally got his wish: [previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

  • Rocket Launcher! Our most requested weapon through the years has been added. Use the alt fire to take control of a rocket fly-by-wire style ala Perfect Dark. Since it's currently OP we’ve made it disabled by default.



  • Improved menus / less clutter!

  • Walking regurgitate! Now you can bring your fountain of sweet nourishments to your fellow zombies. “Meals on Wheels…?” More like “Meals on the heels...of zombies.” Fuck.

  • The Murdership's attack has been buffed (explosions don't blast miners as far away from subsequent shots).

  • Increased the max vehicle spawns on a map to 30 and weapon spawns to 50!

  • Inviting and joining from your friends list is now working!

  • Player Stats! For everything from your number of players murdered to blocks destroyed as a zombie---go to options>debug>view stats to check 'em out.

Weapon changes! (Most weapons have been nerfed)
  • Decreased bullet magnetism range (and aim assist range if using a controller) on the shotty, machine gun, assault rifle, and an unscoped pistol / battle rifle.
  • The mighty sniper rifle now has recoil when repeatedly firing while moving (especially when not scoped in), so players will have to control their shots / movement more judiciously. It also has received a laser pointed indicator (ala TF2) to reveal a snipers position and to let miners know if a sniper is waiting for them as they turn a corner.
  • Fully charged Minergun blaster is no longer a one hit kill.
  • Shotgun now reloads one shell at a time.

Shame the unwashed, non-believing masses who do not kno de wae (with related achievement). To spit press "Z" on the keyboard (or X + Right on the D-pad with an Xbox controller) then fire it at the nonbelievers.

Whew...
We’ve gone on quite a ride together these last 8 years: Making Murder Miners and becoming full time devs after delivering pizza and waiting tables has been a dream come true for us 3 at JForce. I don’t mean to be too sappy, but I want to say that playing alongside you guys through the years and reading all the supportive comments (especially those talking about your memories of playing Murder Miners with your friends back in the good old days and what not)...it means the whole world to me my brothas. R00k (Jonny) and Ty bring forth to you another Murder Miners update:



  • Official Autorun Servers! You can actively play or simply host afk to leave the server up for others. Your server will be tagged as “Official” in the match list. Official servers cycle through standardized maps and settings to give those joining a solid Murder Miners experience---not one in which some abusive, ban happy host is playing on some lame, exploitative map with shit settings.

    With your help “No sessions found” can now be a thing of the past. Please consider hosting Official servers when no other server is up and joining them to attract other players.

  • Sentry! Remember how I said, “With the zombies getting so much more powerful, how can the Murder Miners even hope to survive?” after the ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS update? Well, this is what I had in mind. It’s currently the alt fire of the sword. Since we’re still fine-tuning it we’ve made it disabled by default (You can enable it under “Weapon Options” in the pregame lobby).

Murder Miners Update 25:

Hey, fellas, we got a big bugfix, a few tweaks, and a respawn timer for Murder the Flag.

-Fixed the “You have been booted” error when joining a match.

-Added a spawn timer for Murder the Flag and other possible game modes.

-Nerfed AI zombies (lowered damage and added a delay after attacking).

-Increased time to activate regurgitation and now the HUD regurgitate text grows red while being activated (to help prevent regurgitating when you want to devour).

-Slowed down minergun blaster projectile and increased its damage at lower charge levels.

-Minergun now uses less ammo while building and recharges faster---use the line function!

-Fixed bug which caused the minergun’s fully charged blast to not count towards achievement.
