Vambrace: Dungeon Monarch News

Dear Monarchs of the Hellforn's Dungeon,

This is Minho Kim from Dvora Studio. :)


This build includes the addition of Part 1 of the story, improvements to the tutorial section, and updated UI for game modes in the main menu. We’ve also added detailed card information to make it easier for players to access card variation data, and improved the design of the upgrade UI.




● Content for Story Part 1 has been included.
● The tutorial has been separated into its own mode, with additional content and
improvements.
● You can now progress dialogue not only with the mouse, but also by pressing the Space or
Enter key.
● The design of the Ritual Altar (Upgrade UI) has been improved.
● In card-related UI, pressing the ‘I’ key will show detailed information about the selected




● There are still flickering issues with the dungeon entrance gate and some cards.


● The overall structure of the game is planned to consist of [Story Part 1 + Part 2] and [Free Play modes: Easy and Hard]. (In this Early Access, a version intertwining Free Play Easy and Story Part 1 are unveiled.)

We recently released update 0.2.07 for Vambrace: Dungeon Monarch. This update takes into account the feedback we've received from gamers who've purchased the game, as well as various improvement ideas, and addresses some of the negative feedback we've received. Below are the details of the update:

1. Finalised Save System: We've improved the save system so that you can now autosave in Freeplay mode and manually save in Story mode. We've also changed the game so that if you're in Story mode and Gameover, you can still go back to the previous stage and try again. This gives you the opportunity to try again rather than give up.

2. We finally added a Skip button to video cutscenes. This allows you to move on if you've seen the video again.

3. The first Simplified Chinese localization is now live. We've had some great responses to the game in China and requests for Chinese, so we're hoping to get more diverse gamers to come and give us feedback on the game. It's not perfect, but we'll try to get it checked by native speakers soon.


March is coming! We've got a lot of improvements and additions planned for the month of March that we think you'll enjoy. We'll be improving content for upgrades and building construction, as well as releasing the full story part 1. We'll also be releasing a separate tutorial for the mod changes, so stay tuned for that. The Early Access Launch of Vambrace: Dungeon Monarch is right around the corner; the game will be launching into Early Access tomorrow! So, it's definitely about time for you to prepare for what awaits you in our mixture of deck-building, dungeon defense, and tactical gameplay!

To learn more about it please read the following summary of what to expect from Vambrace: Dungeon Monarch tomorrow. This is the Early Access launch in a nutshell:

• Keep the intruders at bay, in a gameplay loop that blends card game and auto battler mechanics
  
• Place your units strategically on the battlefield and defeat your dungeon against mortal intruders and strong heroes
  
• Focus your strategies around 16 different factions with their own unique cards, buildings and synergies
  
• Collect over 160 cards, utilize nearly 70 perks to upgrade your defending lines, and cast unique and epic spells with your Monarch
  
• Fight 7 Legendary Hero Bosses in Early Access
  
• Train the foes you've beaten on the battlefield and add them to your troops, upgrade your Monarch, improve your synergies with new blueprints and optimize your deck by unlocking new card packs
  
• Follow a traitor's story and reveal the truth behind your dangerous visions, or play in free mode and see if you have what it takes to survive 16 legendary battles
