As the Whizz Bang Fair preparations continue, competitors are getting ready for one of its biggest events, the Bumbling of the Bees — where competitors race around a track with big fluffy bumble bees hot on their heels. But it takes training and dedication to properly prepare, so this update sees a new running race activity! Meet up with Kyla & Xander, or with Theo & Hector as they train for the big day on race tracks laid out all over the region.



But what gives you that competitive edge? There's a new upgrade available now, letting you sprint on command! Talk to Arthur at the Guild Hall to get your hands on this upgrade, which also grants Rigby a similar speed boost while driving the caravan. To take it to the next level, fuel up with a hearty meal when you set up camp each night - a tasty treat will give you both a much-needed energy boost!





You can change the controls for the new sprint from a hold to a toggle in the controls menu if that is more your style.

[h2]Roadmap[/h2]
It's been a while since Bubba's updated our roadmap, so we've asked him to have another pass on it. What's on the road ahead, Bubba?



After today's update, we'll be adjusting our release schedule once again to every three weeks (with hotfixes still coming sooner as needed). As we've mentioned before, every public release requires a bunch of extra work, so as we move closer to 1.0, this extra week between releases goes a long way to allowing us to stay in the zone and focus on completing new content, testing, optimising, and everything else that goes into game dev.

As always, thanks to everyone who submits bug reports, both on Discord and through the in-game reporting tool. Keep it up, it's a big help!

As we alluded to with our initial Dog/Wolf update, we’re expanding the canine roster! Our pointy-eared friends have had some attention, but now it's our floppy-eared friends' time in the spotlight!

As 2024 draws to a close, we wanted to thank each and every one of you for your support and enthusiasm. 2024 came after an especially tough year for 5 Lives, which made this one of the most critical years our studio has ever faced. We started the year full of uncertainty about what the next 12 months would bring, but still excited to bring Cozy Caravan to the world.[h2][/h2]
And even though there's still lots of work to do, we can't express just what a relief it is to be closing out the year with confidence and optimism for 2025 — and that's all thanks to the response and support from you, the Cozy Caravan fans. Thank you all so so much! 🤗[h2][/h2]
This update is our final release for 2024, and the team is heading off for a much-deserved break. We’ll be back in the new year, refreshed and ready to share an amazing 2025 with you! ✨
