Road to EA - Seasonal changes

Hello brewers!
As you know, the release of the early access is planned soon! Let's have a look at everything coming your way! Before going to major topics, let's stop for a quick overview of what we talked about previously...Today's topic: seasonal change!
The four seasons

Starting from the Early Access, you will be able to see the evolution of the seasons impacting the abbey.
These changes will be visible and you'll be able to see the transition in real time. Have a look and let us know what you think!

You'll be able to enjoy the four seasons directly from the comfort of your abbey

These seasons are not just for show (even if they are beautiful). On top of chosing specific ingredients that are related to the ongoing season, they will reduce the production cost of your beer.
So, be creative and try to experiment to get the best out of what the seasons have to offer!

The brighter is the sun, the better is the price

Answering your questions! πŸ”₯

Hey Brewers!
Here is the recap of the main information given on Discord following yesterday's Dev Talk. Giving more information on the release date for the game and our release plan.

Happy reading!
When is the game releasing?

Following all the feedback we received during the demo. It made us reconsider the time we had for the release of the game. We prefer taking our time and digest all the feedback and suggestions into account before the release. This pushed the date from what was December to a few months later, in early 2025 (Q1)
How will it be released?

After a lot of back & forth, we decided to aim for an Early Access before the 1.0 release!
This allows us to gather more feedback, as we continue working on the game and push its development to the point we consider final! Of course, a roadmap of the early Access will be published, to keep an eye on our progress!
What's planned on the EA release?

The official release plan has not changed, and you can still follow the current announcement. You can expect other things as well like a redesign of the research system, the arrival of the long-awaited Abbot/Abbess and a lot more! We'll be sure to reveal more details as we get closer to the releaseπŸ”§

Dev Talk!

Hey brewers!

After the last patch notes on the demo, we took some time to reflect on the work ahead of us and about our release plan for Ale Abbey. We know that this is a question many of you are looking an answer for! As we are approaching the end of the year, we would like to reveal it to all by nex week.
A new Dev Talk

We held our first Dev Talk after the reveal of our game back in June, five months ago. We have since participated in a Next Fest, but now the release date is ever closer. We thought it was high time to answer some of the most popular questions from our forums and Discord!

Next Tuesday we'll be holding another Dev Talk on our Official Discord to discuss the game, the progress we made, and most importantly, the future release!
More precisely, we'll discuss a release time frame, our impressions and learnings from the demo, as well as what we would like the game to look like upon release, and why it might be a little later than initially planned!
What if I can't join?

If you are unable to join the discussion on Discord, fear not! A scribe has been tasked with writing down all the important information you might want to know. This scribe will make this scroll available to all on Steam and will be released shortly after the Dev Talk!

So, if you are free and want to hear us gush about monks and brewing, join us on Discord next Wednesday!
