📜 Demo Patch Notes 📜

Hey brewers!

If you're an avid reader of our patch notes, you may already know that last week we updated the demo! The changes and addition were made to answer the feedback received during the Steam Next Fest that couldn't be implemented just yet!
Here they are:

Added non-pixel font and scalable UI options
Added resolution picker
Added a few missing tool-tips (more to come)
Localized village names have been added
Improved stability of the feedback tool
Making a series of UI optimizations for recipes

[h2]📝 Changes [/h2][hr][/hr]

Changed feedback key to F11 to avoid overlap with steam screenshots key
Changed word limit on recipe names
Removed unlocalized Monk name from Ale name

[h2]🔧 Bugfixes [/h2][hr][/hr]

Fixed the furniture menu (ring menu) and furniture selections
Fixed monks glitching into walls
Fixed ale visualization when multiple ones are on sale in the same village
Fixed a bug allowing to hire Fermentines for free on low money
Fixed camera moviement while being on the feedback form
Fixed several issues related to ale results which softlocked the game
Fixed text in the negotiation and into panels
Fixed Laymen workers loading beers into the cart
Fixed visualization of panel for rebrew with dummy values
Fixed a bug on loan repayments being requested at the wrong times
Fixed an escritoire bug when removing researchers
Fixed several bandit payments-related bugs
Fixed some bugs related to the bishop cleaning tasks
Fixed a barrel bug allowing to refill a barrel partly used for an order delivery

We know a lot of you are wondering about the official release. We would like to continue polishing the details before sharing any release date. As soon as we feel confident in sharing one, you will be among the first to know!

Steam Next Fest summary

Hey Brewers!

Thank you all for being part of the journey, as we said on Friday it was incredible to see so many of you testing the game and interacting with us!
Now that the Next Fest is over, here are the numbers at the end of the event.

[h2]THE WISHLISTS 📜[/h2][hr][/hr]
Last week we were at the 45K wishlist mark, we challenged you to get to 50K... The goal has been reached! You have answered the call and surpassed the goal we set for you!
[h3]Ale Abbey got over 60K wishlists at the end of the Next Fest[/h3]

[h2]THE DEMO 🎮[/h2][hr][/hr]
Out of the 13,000+ brewers who tried the demo, 12,000 more joined over the weekend, giving helpful feedback and making great beers!
[h3]More than 25K brewers joined the Brewing orders[/h3]

We couldn't let you down after such a warm welcome. The demo will remain available on Steam until the end of the year!
For now, we'll continue to work towards the full release of the game, and wish you a good brew!

We made it to 45K+ Wishlists 🤩

While we're now past the midpoint of the Next Fest, we took the time to check our numbers and...You guys crushed it! Since the start of the Next Fest it is 13K+ brewers who tried the demo, and even more players that made us reach the 45K Wishlist mark!

We are more than happy to see how many people are reaching out to us on social media or on Steam. After years of working on a game like this one, those numbers are rewarding on so many levels!

The Steam Next Fest will continue for the whole week-end! While we push to reach the finish line, why not help us reach the 50K wishlist goal?

If you'd like to help us, talk about us to other Next Fest enjoyers you might know and put Ale Abbey on your wishlist if that's not already the case! We'll be certain to tell you if we manage to reach the goal together by the end of the Next Fest 🍺

Since the release of tour demo, and the start of the Steam Next Fest, many content creators have made their way through the busy life of the fermentines. We would like to highlight their works to all of our players in this post!
