T - 1 Days Until Launch | Upcoming Game List Mentions!

Hi everyone!

Tomorrow is the big day -- A Winter Haunting, my debut game, will be available on December 3, 2024 at 3:00 pm PT!

I couldn't have gotten this far without the support of my friends, family, community (including you, reader!), journalists, and streamers!

I recently received some shoutouts on upcoming adventure game lists, which I was super happy to see! :)
Check them out if you'd like a bit of an overview of the game! :)

Bundle Up for These Streams!

Hello hello!

It's that time of year again -- the last of the leaves are falling, colder weather is more common, and people are bundling up for the upcoming holidays! :)

Hmm...almost sounds like the setting of my game, doesn't it? Well -- you wouldn't be too far off -- the game does release on December 3rd (and very intentionally so! :D).

Super excited to release this game very shortly!

Since a lot of this season is spent indoors, I wanted to highlight a couple of streamers who have kindly covered parts of my demo! :D

Feel free to take a look, grab a warm drink, and bundle up for these cozy streams! :)

Updated Demo Build | NEW PLATFORMS + FEATURES!

Hi everyone!

Firstly, I wanted to thank everyone for their patience through this last rung of testing, along with all my AMAZING beta-testers for helping me expand this to other platforms, such as the Steam Deck! :D

I am excited to announce that the following features will be available for this game before my release this December 3rd:

ā„ Steam Deck Support (with Official Glyph Mappings + Automatic Virtual Keyboard Display!)
    ā„ Steam Cloud Saves
    ā„ Steam Achievements (30 total)
    ā„ 16:9 and 16:10 Aspect Ratio Support
ā„ Laptop Builds for Mac and Windows
(?) Potentially a Linux build as well before release (if I can get some testing done beforehand as sanity!)

Minus steam achievements, which will only be available for the full game, an updated demo build is now available with these new features!

Have fun and be on the lookout for the full game release in 3 weeks!

A Winter Haunting | FEATURED

Well well well! Can you believe a week has passed -- Steam Next Fest is now over!
It was awesome to have you all try my game demo. Thank you so much for giving it a spin! :D

I also received a shoutout on Adventure Game Hotspot's list for game demos to watch out for in this edition of the Next Fest!

While the fest is over, I am aiming to perpetually leave up my demo, in case anyone wants to give it a spin to get a feel before the full game releases in December! :D

October 2024 Steam Next Fest + Beta Phase Progress!

Hi everyone!

Well it's that time of year...STEAM NEXT FEST!! WHOOHOOO!!

I have opted in for this year, so definitely feel free to ask questions, post discussions, show screenshots, or even any fan artwork you have! :)

On another note, I will be starting my second phase of beta testing next week! Major thanks to all the people who offered to dedicate some time to testing my game -- I know that it can be a lot of work!

On that note, I also wanted to thank my broader audience for supporting me through this journey. While I might be a hobbyist solo dev, I could not have done it without the encouragement of my community, the support of my friends and parents, and the motivation from the various gamedev groups I am a part of!

So thank you all for helping me push through the last rung of this game, and I hope to see you around in the discussions! :))
