Battlefield 6’s battle royale mode is called… Redsec and it’s coming out today
For weeks now, Battlefield 6 insiders have been saying that the game’s battle royale mode - which hadn’t been given a proper name yet - would be shadow-dropping with the game’s then-upcoming Season 1.

Battlefield 6’s battle royale mode has a name, and it isn’t quite as awful as I was expecting, falling well short of the exhilarating cringe of "Battlefortnite". Battlefield REDSEC, they’re calling it. Such a Tom Clancelled, Limp Bizkit-ass moniker. What does REDSEC stand for, EA? Rampant Ennui Detected, Send Emergency Cookies?
