Battlefield 6 dev promises to fix its most ridiculous movement exploit

I've never seen a game launch without a single bug. However, some launches are plagued with more of them than others. Battlefield 6 has got off to a relatively good start, considering the size of the game and number of players - a stark contrast to the launch state of its predecessor, 2042. However, there's one particular movement bug in the new multiplayer game that I can't help but laugh at every time I see it. Thankfully, a developer at Battlefield Studios has confirmed it is working on a fix, so soon you won't have to deal with superpowered soldiers any more.

Everyone is jumping into fast XP farms in Battlefield 6 because it takes too damn long to unlock stuff - and EA is cracking down on it

Battlefield 6 is here. It’s breaking series records, and everyone is generally happy with the quality of the launch build. Once players cleared the long log-in queues and started diving in, however, they realised what the media and content creators have been feeling during the review period: the game’s XP grind is just too slow.

Battlefield 6 officially arrived on Friday across PC and current-gen platforms. The highly-anticipated launch had some question marks hanging over it, but those quickly dissipated as soon as servers went live.

The Battlefield 6 custom search tool is supposed to be its shortcut around having to delve into the Portal server list. It's a quick way to select exactly which maps and modes you want to play and matchmake into those. The problem is that this doesn't always work. Many players using the feature are finding themselves dropped into games that aren't the one they asked for, as the BF6 matchmaking decides you've been waiting too long for some action. But what if there was an option to bypass this and commit to your choice?

Battlefield 6 hands out free battle passes to some players after EA outage

EA and Battlefield Studios are handing out Battlefield 6 freebies to players affected by outages on the first day of release, which prevented those hit from getting into the action for several hours. Those who purchased BF6 via the EA app were faced with downtime that kept some out of the game altogether, with certain people being told they needed to purchase DLC in order to play. Meanwhile, some Steam users have been met with a confusing warning that Battlefield 6 isn't yet available when trying to download it.
