Hotfix 0.2.2 - Patch Notes

Hey Jotunnslayers! Today, we're bringing you a Hotfix 0.2.2 to address multiple reported issues. We're still working on additional fixes based on your feedback!

Improvements

Steam Deck text visibility improved.
File verification now prompts if any issues are detected.
Multiple SFX improvements.
Multiple VFX improvements.
Jotunheim boss animation improvements.

Bug Fixes

Fixed an issue where settings would reset after syncing with Steam Cloud from a different device.
Fixed a bug where beetles did not explode on death on Insane difficulty.
Fixed an issue where players could get stuck outside the boss arena.
Fixed some trophies not unlocking even after meeting the requirements.
Fixed an issue where the mouse cursor would appear, when using controller.
Fixed the exclamation mark icon in Trophy Hall staying visible even after claiming all trophies.
Fixed a bug where banishing a fallback option could hard lock the game.
Fixed an issue causing some enemies to walk in a wrong direction.
Fixed an issue where Jotunheim Seeress Frozen Elite enemies would stop animating.
Fixed a visual bug where the Ambient Occlusion UI text would flash when changing VSync settings.
Fixed a bug where some enemies could teleport while casting.
Fixed the Nithstang mute effect applying globally instead of locally.

Improvements

Enhanced sound effects for a more immersive experience.
Added widescreen HUD customization options.
Trophy reward notifications now display properly.

Bug Fixes

Fixed an issue where the FPS limit was stuck at 60.
Resolved a bug where using the last reroll would automatically select an option.
Fixed trophies and modifiers not unlocking after meeting the necessary requirements.
Addressed an issue where objectives could spawn in unreachable locations.
Saves now load correctly without errors.

It's no secret that I love Diablo. Perhaps my favorite videogame franchise ever made, Sanctuary's dreary hopelessness is, for some reason, my paradise - my ghoulish home away from home. But the past couple of years have seen myriad new ARPGs challenge Blizzard's throne, with games like Path of Exile 2 and Last Epoch taking different approaches to the tried and tested dungeon crawler formula.
