Immediate Company Plans

To: All platform managers
Subject: Immediate Company Plans

Attention Platform Managers!
The Board of Directors extends its deepest gratitude to all of you for your unwavering support and commitment to the company's values. The days since we went public on Steam have been nothing short of mind-blowing for the entire board. We are truly humbled by the level of involvement from our exemplary staff, and it is with great honor that we say: thank you for helping us keep the profits flowing.

We also want to acknowledge the tremendous amount of feedback provided by our valued workforce. Your insights are critical in helping Drill Core Inc. maintain its position as the undisputed leader in the galactic mining industry. After careful consideration, both the Board and the R&D department have reviewed all the feedback concerning company operations, and we’ve adjusted our priorities accordingly.

Before going developing next phase of our Strategic Roadmap (SR), we’d like to address the upcoming improvements based on your feedback. The following changes are scheduled for the next Patch planned for release this week:

 • The first three difficulty contracts will now take place on less hazardous planets. Expect fewer negative events, reduced wildlife interference, and generally smoother operations. We aim to keep our employees...mostly intact.
 • We’re switching technology suppliers, which means Division Upgrades will become cheaper across the board. Efficiency breeds profit!
 • Our mineral-detection software will be upgraded, resulting in higher contract incomes and a greater yield of meta-minerals. And, in the unlikely event of contract failure, you’ll now receive double the honorary reward. Even when we lose, we win!
 • Miners will now, by default, follow our experimental pathfinding instructions, previously known as ‘Alternative AI’ in settings. The Worker Instructing Department promises further fine-tuning down the line.
 • Steam Cloud Saves will be re-enabled—though we’re keeping an eye on the HR department’s so-called ‘Saves’ safety, so this might slip to later patches.
 • Some Qualifications for acquiring new company building blueprints will be slightly adjusted, with some requirements made easier. We're committed to making growth manageable for our workforce.
 • A new upgrade for an additional technology reroll will be introduced at the start of the Division upgrade tree, because who doesn’t love a second chance at greatness?
 • Several turrets and equipment will receive buffs, increasing operational efficiency and profitability.
 • And, of course, multiple bug fixes are inbound. Even perfection needs a tune-up.

Expect further details on these changes in the coming days as we roll out the patch.
Following this patch, we’ll turn our attention to the next one, arriving two weeks later.
This second patch will focus on two key features:
 1. Session Progress Saves (so you can pick up your operations right where you left off).
 2. A Glossary (via Steam overlay) explaining the blocks, enemies, and more.
Over time, we’ll expand this with further entries on turrets, buildings, and other operational assets.

Rest assured, the Board is committed to monitoring Steam reviews, forum discussions, Discord chatter, and, of course, survey replies (accessible via the main Company Interaction Menu). We will continue to adapt based on your invaluable feedback. Once we’ve addressed all current operational issues, our R&D department will shift focus to the content update outlined in our Strategic Roadmap (SR)

As we continue building a better galaxy, one core at a time, know that our corporate empire grows ever stronger thanks to your hard work and dedication.

Thank you for sharing the love,
The Drill Core Inc. Board of Directors

Drill Core is a planet-mining roguelike strategy game you can try free

Mining is one of the most satisfying activities in any videogame, as long proven by the likes of Deep Rock Galactic, Terraria, Spelunky, and of course the mighty Minecraft. Yet - as they all prove - it can also be fantastically dangerous. So instead of doing it yourself, why not run a powerful mining corporation instead and have others do the hard graft? That's the premise of Drill Core, a new roguelike strategy game that's just launched on Steam, and you can try it out for free with a Steam sale discount if you want to keep playing.

[URGENT] Drill Core Has Now Launched into Early Access
To: All Platform Managers
The Board of Directors is beyond thrilled to inform you that Drill Core has successfully launched into Early Access, significantly expanding our corporate interests across the galaxy! This monumental achievement marks a pivotal step in our long-term strategy to dominate the galactic mining and terraforming sectors.

To celebrate this incredible milestone, we have prepared a highly informative video featuring interviews with our hardworking ground teams!

Note: The HR department has been made aware of certain inappropriate behaviors during the filming of these interviews. The Miner implicating misconduct by the Platform Manager has been... "transitioned out" of the company, so rest assured that you are still operating in a completely compliant, ethical environment.

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
We have prepared several mildly motivational items for our Platform Managers to commemorate our common success.

Entry fee reduced by 20%!
Yes, you heard that right. For one entire week, our product is discounted by a generous 20%. Now’s your chance to invest early at a very reasonable price - before it inevitably rises!
An additional 10% off for Black Skylands owners!
That’s right! If you already own or purchase Black Skylands - a product from our esteemed major shareholders, Hungry Couch Games - you will be rewarded with an extra 10% discount. Plus, we’re adding genetically enhanced Moths to your platform. These trusted flying companions are eager to assist in carrying goods, delivering results, and absolutely, positively replacing one of your existing carriers. Just make sure you adjust your team headcount accordingly. Downsizing is optimizing!

Moving forward, we anticipate significant growth in company shares as a direct result of this investment opportunity. Our corporate Roadmap, outlining our strategy for galactic expansion and innovation, will be communicated next week. Remember, it’s not just about mining—it’s about building a better galaxy, one core at a time!

Now, please proceed to click the Buy button below. Failure to do so will automatically signal non-compliance and may prompt further communication from the Head of Your Sector.
