Hello!

This is a small balance patch and a fix to a challenge that was broken.

We're about ready to start playtests on the next area of the game. If you're interested in giving feedback and participating, we will share the details on our discord in the near future.

Fixed:
Challenge "Beggars CAN be choosers" fixed

Items:
Redwood Cloak restore 1 health -> restore 2 health
Armor Regrowth, regain 2x armor -> regain 1x armor

Bosses:
Ironshell beetle, 8 atk -> 7 atk
Blazing Hothead 1 base atk -> 2 base atk
swiftstrike stag 2 base atk -> 3 base atk

DEMO PATCH #7

Holiday Greetings!

This patch introduces miniboss encounters, some new rare events, clearer biome separations and many new items. It's a big patch so apologies if we missed to list anything.

While working on the next area we have made some pretty major changes to the itempool of Woodland. Mainly moving all Stun items to the next area along with some other items that fit other areas better, flavor wise. To compensate for the items moved out of Woodland we've added some more bomb synergies and a new status keyword, "Powder" among other things.

These changes are in line with our full vision for the game beyond the demo. If you have any feedback on items, bosses or gameplay in general we'd love to hear it.

DEMO PATCH #6

Greetings! We are hard at work on the next area of the game so this patch is a bit light on demo content.

  1. The settings menu has been revamped to include settings for borderless and windowed mode.
  2. There's a few bugfixes and item renamings.

DEMO PATCH #5

This update adds some further improvements to the overworld map, a new waypoint event for quick travel, the ability to hover over enemies and events on the map to get more information as well as some overworld biomes that affect where some events are more likely to spawn.

It also introduces an item compendium listing all unlocked items.

Going forward we will continue to iterate on the overworld map as well as start development of the next area of the game. Thanks for playing!

This update focuses on speed items and making the event and item spawning feel better.

A number of changes has been made to the world generation to avoid getting bad RNG with event spawns as well as some improvements to which items are offered to the player.

New items means we had to move around the rewards for some challenges.
