Development Update #2 - In-Depth Gameplay Showcase

[p]Greetings, Lost Souls!
[/p][p]We can proudly say that our adventures with Ro are taking more shape than ever. We are almost ready to announce the release date, but we need to keep you waiting a little bit longer. And yes, we are still on track to release Death Howl in 2025!
[/p][p]13 locations, 24 different types of enemies, around 150 different cards, quests, and many more features unlockable through story progression is almost done at the moment.

[/p][carousel][/carousel][p][/p][p]To help you get more familiar with the mechanics and gameplay awaiting you in the full release, we have prepared a new Gameplay Showcase Trailer, where we break down all the important things you need to know while playing Death Howl.

Death Howl Closed Playtests Launch Next Week

[p]Dear Lost Souls,

Today we are happy to announce that progress of our game is going very smoothly and we have finished almost all content, which will appear in the game during release.

Death Howl is our little big project and now we would like to ask you for help and invite you to participate in it's creation.

We are opening sign ups for the closed playtests of Death Howl which will be held from November 7th to 10th.

To sign up just click a button on Steam Store Page, and you are all set!



Our main goal now is to balance the game as well as we can with all cards combinations, and difficulty of encounters.

During the playtests you will be able to experience most of the content which will be available in the final release of the game (around 20+ hours of it) both on PC and Steam Deck!

We will appreciate any your feedback and cannot wait to see you in the Spirit Realm.

Hello Wanderers,

We’re excited to bring you our first big Development Update for Death Howl in which we would like to show you some nice sneak peaks and updates. The whole team (well, the three of us here in Denmark) are working hard on the game and things are going smoothly! The official release date announcement is getting closer, but before all that, check out the brand new Gameplay and Demo!:

First off, a huge thank you for all the amazing feedback on the demo! Your support has been incredibly motivating and keeps us pushing forward.

We’re happy to announce that we are bringing the demo back starting June 9th, during the upcoming Steam Next Fest - updated, extended, and refined! It’s the perfect time to step back into Ro’s shoes and journey once more into the spirit realm.

That’s not all! We’ve been feeling a little nostalgic lately and stumbled upon some early production phase gems we’d love to share with you. Below, you’ll find a selection of early concept sketches of the in-game map and locations as well as key art, and brainstorm assets from the very beginning of Death Howl’s journey.
