Versioned Hotfix Live, Fixes Performance Issues!

 • Mitigated a memory leak issue causing some players very bad performance. There is still work to do, but the game shouldn't go up to crazy amounts in a short amount of time.
 • Fixed being able to select 2x same unit in Tag Team
 • Disabled mouse window resize to avoid confusing results.
 • Fixed a bug where if the game was in a previously low window size and entered borderless windowed, it would render in desktop resolution WITH the elements thinking it was smaller.
 • Prevented Windows from messing with DPI and creating nonsense resolution in computers with application scale other than 100%.
 • Fixes the loading of certain announcer mods
 • Fixed clients getting desynced when choosing to "Fight" while having the "Fury" or "Iron Defense" actions available in Co-op games.
 • Fixed game crashing if playing a Tag Team game and switching lobby into Co-op and starting a game.

Tag Team, macOS Support and More in 3.24!

Fun youth is in danger! Gather at Family Restaurant Pures to figure out how to fix the situation!

A new storyline begins in new "Extracurricular Crisis" event, with a new Tag Team game mode!
Version 3.24 also adds macOS and Steam Timeline support!

Tag Team!

A brand new event, Extracurricular Crisis, written by Hono and illustrated by Tsukino is now live until December 21!

Meet new characters and play in the new Tag Team game mode to collect Restaurant Pures stamps and clear the event! (other game modes also progress event but at half the pace).

The Tag Team game mode has players packing not one but TWO characters into the match! The characters can be tagged out every 3 chapters, and will automatically tag out if the player is KO'd! Unleash wild new synergies and clever ploys!

Note that Tag Team game mode is limited to the event duration.

The event rewards include new costumes, dice, a new field "Pures Stamp Rally", and more!

Alongside the addition of Tag Team, most characters in the game have had new voice lines added.

macOS Support Added!

Good news for our resident apple lovers! 100% Orange Juice now supports macOS as well!

This is still a new addition and there might be unforeseen issues - if you run into problems, make sure to let us know! We'll be on the lookout to fix those.

Steam Timeline Support Added!

100% Orange Juice now also supports the new Steam Timeline feature! This puts markers on the Steam overlay timeline when using Game Recording to show important events, and clearly shows game phases.
OpenGL Update, New Steam Branches
After extensive testing, the OpenGL build has now moved from the Steam Beta to live build!

There may still be some undiscovered bugs even after over a year of testing, so if you run into those, just make sure to report them to us! We don't expect anyone will be unable to play the game because of the change, but just in case we've made a new Steam Beta branch that still carries a DirectX build (the previous default), so if for some reason you are unable to play on the OpenGL build, you can switch to that:
Game Properties -> Betas -> "DirectX_Backup"
This beta will be discontinued once we're confident that players don't have any issues with the OpenGL build.

As we earlier announced, we are now dropping support for x86 architecture. But just for anyone who is unable to play 64 bit games, we've archived the latest version of the game to a new Legacy branch:
Game Properties -> Betas -> "legacy_3.23.1"

This legacy build won't be updated, but you can still play with other people using the same build.

We hope you'll enjoy this major new update!

Sunsetting 32-bit Build

Hello dear players,

From the next update of 100% Orange Juice, we plan to be discontinuing 32-bit support. By all likelihood this should not affect you, and the support for 32-bit versions of Windows itself is already ending on 2025/05/31, but we wanted to give an advance notice just in case. We've continued supporting it since the release of the 64-bit version, thanks to a bug in Direct Sound that could cause the loading to be stuck on 64-bit systems under really specific circumstances, but since we have already moved from Direct Sound for almost 1 year already, it's not a roadblock for us anymore.

64-bit systems are already the mainstream of personal computing for at least 13 years - even laptops from 10 years ago already supported 64-bits, so we hope this change will not affect any players in a major way.

Focusing on a 64-bit build will also allow us to keep improving the game without the shackles of hardware limitations. Our Linux version is already 64-bit only, and the soon to be released macOS version is also 64-bit. Many hardware and software vendors are phasing out 32-bit support. This makes it increasingly difficult to maintain a 32-bit version of your software without encountering compatibility issues, and has been limiting new features we can add to the game. By focusing on a single 64-bit version, we can deliver a more robust, secure, and performant gaming experience for all our players.

Thank you for the continued support as we keep improving the game!
