Announcing Community Card Pack 3 Card Contest!


Have a card you really want to see in 100% Orange Juice and can't believe it doesn't already exist? Now it's time to get those creative juices flowing!

Introducing a card contest for Community Card Pack 3!

The contest will have 2 phases:
[h2]Phase 1: Concepts[/h2]
Active: September 7 to October 5 PST.

Unlike last time, when we used the surplus from the first Community Card Pack for the card ideas phase, the game has evolved quite a bit so we want to give everyone a fresh chance to pitch cool new ideas.

Last time we received about 2000 card concept submissions. Can we do better this time? Make us find out the hard way!

The card pack will contain a minimum of 1 Boost, Battle, Event, Trap and Gift card. Just head on over to this thread and submit your ideas.

The Community Card Pack will be produced as follows:

1. Suggestions may be submitted in this thread until the end of October 5 (PST). Suggestions can include card type, name, effect and cost/level, but general suggestions and discussion on other suggestions are welcome too. Flavor texts are not necessary. Suggestions don't need to be unique, so don't worry about reading every single other idea in the thread. You may also include several ideas in the same post if you wish.

2. Fruitbat Factory will select an appropriate mix of concepts from the thread and modify them as we see fit. Fruitbat Factory may add other cards to the mix as well, if some niche turns out to not be met.

3. Fruitbat Factory and Orange Juice will prepare concepts for the final card selection.

4. An art contest will be launched to create community art for the new cards.

5. Fruitbat Factory and Orange Juice will prepare flavor texts based on the art for the final card selection.

6. The new cards will be added as a free new card pack into the game.

7. The community is, as always, solely responsible for any bugs the new cards introduce.

By submitting a suggestion in the designated thread, you agree to waive any demand to credit or compensation regarding any text and concepts you propose with the full understanding that that the only reward you receive is the happiness from helping add new content to the game (Suggestions may overlap and it may be impossible to accurately credit or reward them afterwards). Fruitbat Factory reserves the right to modify the suggestions and to not use any of them at their discretion.

After we have finished processing the submissions and selected winning card entries, and discussed their concept with Orange Juice, we will run a new Art Contest for them! More detail will be released on this when it's time.

Heed the River's Call - Master Anglers Event Now Live!


A new event "Master Anglers" is now live until the end of August 29, PST!

Master Anglers

Take to the riverside to chill with fishing and BBQ with Saki, Kae and Nath!

While playing the new Fish-a-Fish game mode, the matches play out as normal, but with a twist - every 5 chapters, a new Fish-a-Fish minigame will play out. For 90 seconds, players compete to catch the biggest and most energetic fish, and race to complete the requests as the Grill for extra points!

After each fishing phase, players gain stars and wins based on their score ranking!



Participating in this game mode will reward players with some super special summer-themed rewards...!

Changes:
  • New event, Master Anglers added, now live until August 29.
  • New minigame, Fish-a-Fish added as part of the Master Anglers event.
  • Updated and modernized the game ending credit roll.
  • New option added to the Config: CPU Cosmetics. You can now enable whether CPUs in your game may start with random cosmetics (in multiplayer, lobby owner's setting determines this).
  • New accessibility option added to the Config: Reduced Clicks. Enabling this will automatically roll 'timed' dice rolls for you.


Fixes:
  • Fixed being unable to click the random filters.
  • Fixed mixer effects not being active if texts for them didn't load properly.
  • Fixed Magical Inferno taking stars from NoName's regular form.

The pack includes the two witches from the world of Alicianrone: Alicianrone the Speed Witch, and Teotoratta the Beast Witch. Both characters come with character and announcer voices - in addition, the DLC includes an extra story mission that follows the story of the Witch Pack and Old Guardians Pack.

When battling an opponent with more than +1 ATK, gain +1 EVD until end of battle. If they have more than +3 ATK, gain an additional +1 EVD.

Hyper (Boost): Full Speed Alicianrone
Level 3, Cost: 50
Roll a die and move result x 3 panels. Deal damage equal to the result to each unit you pass during the move. If they are KO'd by the damage, gain Wins as though from a normal battle. After this effect, your turn ends.

Green and Purple Voices


In addition, the Witch Pack has been updated with voices for Miusaki and Ceoreparque! This means all of the cast is now finally voiced!

Summer Games Are On Again!


Summer heat has driven QP bonkers again! Help stop the playful Summer Beast to unlock refreshing rewards!

The Summer Games event is on until July 15, with a lowered global counter for easier completion, and new rewards added to keep it fresh for all players.

In addition, fighting all co-op bosses now helps clear the event! Other bosses except for Summer Beast count at half the rate.

Flying Red Barrel Releasing Soon - Marc (Pilot) Now Playable!


Orange Juice's classic, Flying Red Barrel - The Diary of a Little Aviator is finally being released on Steam June 19!

The challenging cute'em'up originally released in Japan in 2007 has stolen the hearts of many with its branching storyline, and it has now been remastered to crisp 1280x960 native resolution with modern resolution options and other conveniences!

The game is currently available for pre-purchase on the Fruitbat Factory store, and Steam owners of the game may now play the free bonus character, Marc (Pilot) in 100% Orange Juice version 2.9.6!
