Brave Adventurers (even the ones still covered in sticky bits), warrior and mages of the Blightstone, rejoice! We've had some incredible news and we wanted to share with you, our loyal subjects... I mean followers! Mortals! You lot, out there in the digital ether, anyway.



Our dark-fantasy strategy Blightstone has hit a mighty milestone on our journey, with 35,000 wishlists on Steam. I am always hesitant to throw out compliments (because I’m too busy throwing out resurrection spells to revive adventurers who got a little too keen) but the Mages behind the scenes wanted me to send a resounding message of thanks to all of you.

Your support has fanned the flames of our fire, and I’m sure there are other pithy emotional metaphors we can use as well, but the Mages (and, I suppose, I) appreciate the incredible support you’ve shown so far.



Explosive news, eh Adventurers? Ready yourselves and prepare for battle as we face the Blight. Steel yourselves for a roguelike strategy journey the likes of which this world has not yet seen.

We’ve fed the horse, packed the cart and we’re already trundling our way down the path to Tacticon! This festival of strategic wonders highlights strategic turn-based, tacticals, rogue-likes and more, and you can find it on Steam.

Over 100 gems will be unveiled, with dev-talks and more taking place during the one-hour showcase. If you’re the kind of adventurer that enjoys some strategy in your life (and being honest with you, if you don’t like that I’m surprised that you’re here), keep an eye out on the TactiCon!!.



While the TactiCon showcase will be held today, Friday will provide insight from many of our lernéd colleagues within the industry. They’ll be covering subjects such as terraforming, knight tactics, strategies for the outnumbered, hexarchy and more.

All subjects near and dear to our hearts though we do note that there’s no talk on “sacrificing adventurers for the greater good” – possibly an oversight on their part.



Anyway, there’s a lot to learn, a lot to see and a lot to play as well. If you’re looking for to test your mettle while we wait to catapult you into the infernal rift, TactiCon is a good place to temper your skills. Get a move on, and let us know how you go.
