Hey everyone, it’s Anabel from Malapata Studio! 😊 We have some big news—Camper Van: Make It Home will be part of Steam Next Fest, running from February 24 to March 3!

To celebrate, we’ve expanded the demo so you can finally customize your van in the workshop! 🛠️✨ Now you’ll get a taste of what it’s like to truly make your camper feel like home. Plus, we’ve made tons of improvements: a revamped UI, new decorating items, more color options for your van, and overall enhanced gameplay.

And we have another exciting announcement—Camper Van: Make It Home is officially launching in 2025! 🎉 We’re really sorry for the delay. It took us over a year to secure full funding for the game, which set us back a few months. But now, we’re more energized than ever and can’t wait to show you everything we’ve been working on!

A huge thank you to the 88,000+ of you who have supported us by wishlisting the game. Seeing our Kickstarter get fully funded in just 16 hours was an unforgettable moment, and watching the wishlist numbers grow every day fills us with so much gratitude. We’re beyond excited to bring this game to life for you all.

We're thrilled to announce a new update to the Camper Van: Make it Home demo, just in time for the Save & Sound event! This update not only addresses several bug fixes but also introduces a significant upgrade to the soundtrack, featuring compositions by Juanma Latorre of the renowned band Vetusta Morla. Latorre’s music brings a fresh, immersive layer to the game, capturing the spirit of exploration and the freedom of life on the road.



Bugs Fixed, Experience Improved
Our team has been hard at work addressing player feedback to create a smoother and more enjoyable experience. This demo update includes a variety of bug fixes that improve gameplay and enhance the overall flow of the Camper Van experience.

New Soundtrack by Juanma Latorre
Perhaps the most exciting part of this update is the debut of Juanma Latorre’s music as Camper Van: Make it Home’s official soundtrack. Latorre, a talented guitarist and composer from Vetusta Morla, joined the project through a mutual connection and was captivated by the game’s themes of self-discovery and connection with nature. For him, the soundtrack needed to embody the sense of freedom, the beauty of exploring the unknown, and the quiet moments of introspection that life on the road offers.

The Camper Van: Make It Home Demo is Now Available for Mac!

We couldn’t take part in the Indie Arena Booth at Gamescom without bringing something special. That’s why we’ve worked hard to release the Mac demo today. Mac users can now jump in, set up their camper van, and explore the scenic landscapes on the road. This demo gives you a sneak peek at the core mechanics of the game, but it’s just the beginning.

We’re continuously working on improvements and adding more content in future updates. Don’t miss the chance to try it out and share your feedback with us!

Over the past few months, we’ve carefully read all your feedback and have been hard at work improving the experience. Here are some fresh updates now available in the demo:

It gets even better! The Mac version will be ready in a few days, just in time for Gamescom (21-25th Aug.)! 🎉 We’d love to hear what you think about these changes. Camper Van: Make it Home is a videogame about camperizing your own van, where you will embark on a journey of personal discovery while you decorate and create a space for all your belongings.

This satisfying game invites you to create your own home space in a van combining elements of block organization puzzle games and interior design. Decorate and organize all your objects while you discover step by step what led our protagonist to embark on this journey.
