BUS: Bro u Survived News

We've smashed the bugs!

Hello, Survivors! If you actually survived on our new Arena :|

There are just under two weeks left in the Trouble Rumble event, and we hope everyone who wants to earn the awesome outfits still has time to do so! Also, don't forget that the top 10 players on the Arena will receive a full copy of the game!

In the meantime, we've released an update fixing the main bugs. Here's what's inside:

 • Added tutorial.
 • Fixed the issue with using medkits.
 • Fixed acid damage, which will no longer deal constantly increasing amounts of damage.
 • Adjusted the spawn location of spitters.
 • Fixed animations and behavior of boomers.
 • Players will no longer get stuck in the lobby after completing the event.
 • Minor adjustments to weapon balance and zombie health.

If you happen to spot a bug, please let us know on Discord - we'll look into it :) And feel free to drop by just to chat too!

Also, we're participating in the Isometric Sale festival. As always, we recommend checking out the cool games featured in the event. You might just find something you would love.

Trouble Rumble

From August 1 to August 19 the battle for survival begins - the arena is activated, zombies are already rushing into battle, and only you can stop their horde!

Fight through waves of enemies and earn exclusive outfits that will carry over to the full version of the game at launch. And yes - all of them were inspired by your ideas! If you want to contribute more, share your thoughts in our Discord server!

During the event, you can expect:
 • Counterattacks, finishers, deadly traps, and total annihilation of every single zombie - all thanks to the new combat system! 💣
 • Three unique outfits that you can unlock by surviving zombie waves. (Wear them proudly both during the event and after the game's release!)
 • The Crown of the Great Victory - for those who survive a full 100 waves! 👑
 • And the adventure doesn't end at wave 100: the top 10 players will receive a Steam copy of the game! Keep an eye on the leaderboard!

Share your screenshots, clips, and screams of horror (or triumph!) - we'll collect the most epic moments into a final video recap!

100 000 survivors!

Hello!

Our bus has arrived with some joyful news — we’ve hit 100,000 wishlist additions!

And here’s what we’ve learned:
 • It’s impossible to implement everything you want in a game — but we aim for the impossible!
 • There’s never enough coffee!
 • Development takes a lot of time and effort, but the very idea of creating a co-op game with a deep story and tons of interesting mechanics keeps our team moving forward.

Right now, the bus is picking up speed toward release, and ahead of us is a massive playtest. We want you (our amazing players) to be the first to try out the entirely new combat system. And we’ve also taken into account a huge number of complaints — so we’ve completely rewritten the networking code: no more errors and no more high ping!

Thank you once again - and see you at the next stop!

The very moment when everything could have gone wrong...

"These guys aren't aliens. Those are zombies!"

Hello Survivors!

Our initial idea with zombies involved a collective mind. We considered two options:

Zombies that stick various iron objects into their heads, which function like antennas.
Zombies with transparent heads that would glow when their relatives appeared nearby.

The more zombies present, the brighter the light. Imagine what a cool zombie party that would be!

Later, we decided to abandon the idea of visually representing their connection. However, the concept of a single mind remained.

We then began to work on the design of the zombies themselves, starting small - literally:

We came up with silly zombie babies (Zombaby). This happened because we aimed to create a design that wasn't too realistic, adding jelly-like features and plumpness to the monsters. Simultaneously, a taller version was drawn, with faces resembling those of evil old men.

The second option looked better, except for the heads. They were replaced by skeletons:

Everyone liked this design, and it was chosen as the main one for our definitely-not-aliens. If you have any ideas or suggestions for their appearance, we welcome you to share them on our social networks!

Our Social Media:

Let's look under the hood!
Why a bus?
[p]At the beginning of our project, we wanted to include a large and roomy vehicle that would appear ironic in a zombie apocalypse world and match our style.[/p][p]We chose a bus. And what is the most stylish and recognizable bus that comes to mind? That's right—a school bus :)[/p][p] First concepts [/p][carousel][/carousel][p]Naturally, we also thought about customizing the bus. Is it even possible to create a vehicle without the ability to add spoilers, saws, or bat wings to it?![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p] One of the first customization concepts [/p][p]You may have already experienced the bus customization in the latest demo. Meanwhile, we continue to develop even more decorations and visual enhancements for the bus. Here's a small spoiler of what we're planning:[/p][p][/p][carousel][/carousel][p][/p][p]Due to its perfect fit with our setting and concept, the bus became the foundation of our project and the main symbol that will be your most loyal friend throughout the game (you wouldn't trade it for a mustang, would you?).[/p][p][/p][p]If you have any ideas for the bus's appearance, feel free to reach out to us on social media. We will consider the most interesting suggestions and, if possible, implement them![/p]
