New Gameplay Trailer

We are just one day away from release and we thought we’d show you something we haven’t shown you before: Unfiltered, unedited gameplay. You know, the stuff you’ll actually be doing 100% of the time, but somehow, so many games forget to ever show you.

At D-Dub, we don’t want to be all about the jazz-hands, and not be able to live up to it in the sack -- if you know what I mean. So, without further ado, we present to you a quick three minutes of a few of the things you can do while exploring the mean streets of Downtown BoneTown.

New Trailer for Release on June 8th

We’re only a few days away from the release of BoneTown: The Second Coming Edition on Steam, and we thought it’d be a good time to drop another trailer.

Here you can see all the old fan favorites from BoneTown like Billy, Britney, and Marley are back, but all is not the same as it was before. We’ve spiffed up and added to every mission. And who is The Man? You might be surprised.

Along with this new trailer, we are also announcing a release week sale for BoneTown: The Second Coming Edition. Starting June 8th, for an entire week, the game will be 15% off. So mark your calendar and add the game to your Wishlist. This is really happening . . . soon!

One Week Until Release of BoneTown: The Second Coming Edition

We're one week away from release! BoneTown: The Second Coming Edition is out on June 8th.

To celebrate, we'll be doing a drunken gameplay broadcast on release day. Think the drunken commentary on Blu-Rays, but instead, it'll be the developers playing the game, drinking, and talking about development and all things BoneTown. Keep an eye on this page for an exact time.

We hope you'll be playing right along with us on release day, so to help you get your copy right away, we'll be running a 15% launch discount for the first week of sales.

In addition, we will be doing a giveaway of games to newsletter subscribers. Information about how to enter will go out in a couple days, so if you haven't yet, sign up for our newsletter.

Check back here in the coming week for more release day shenanigans, and be sure to stick around after release, because we have plenty of announcements about new DLC content and additions of things like Steamworks.

FIGHTING IN THE SECOND COMING EDITION

One thing BoneTown fans have asked for over and over is the ability to fight with teammates. You had that ability in our other title, BoneCraft, but until now, BoneTown was just about kicking everyone else’s butt. And okay, in BoneTown: Second Coming Edition, it’s still mostly about kicking everyone else’s butt--but sometimes it’s also about helping out the little guy, too. So with the addition of competitions like Help Out a Hebrew and JailBreak, we’ve added different ways to interact with the wacky personalities of BoneTown. From helping them get laid to freeing them from LaMigra Headquarters, you now can work with BoneTownians as much as you mess them up.

Another way the Second Coming Edition is different is that this version of BoneTown is also a much wilder place. With fights now breaking out on the streets, you have to keep an eye out in case some drunken idiot decides you’re the next person on his hit list.

In the Second Coming Edition, you will also have to be more careful with the girls you hit on. Not all the girls in BoneTown are available. Some have boyfriends, husbands, or jealous suitors taking offense to your advances on their chicks.

Finally, we wanted to address the monotony of fighting people who all used the same attacks. So we’ve added plenty more individuals and competitions that allow you to fight against people using drugs and powermoves just as you do.

BoneTown has never been a peaceful place, and in the new edition we cranked that up to eleven. So, when hitting the mean streets of BoneTown on the hunt for tang, remember, this town’s about more than just getting it on . . . so watch your back.

BoneTown Banned in Germany

Well, guys. We tried, but Germany seems to think that German adults can’t deal with adult content. After a review process with the USK--Germany’s video game board--they have refused BoneTown a rating, which essentially constitutes a ban, and certainly means we cannot sell on German Steam.

We wish every country allowed adults to make their own decisions when it comes to the video games they play, but there is nothing else we can do. (Except maybe *wink wink* remind you that direct sales on our website do still exist if your country insists on restricting your Steam experience…) We are sorry to all our German fans--we did our best, guys, and we hope this will change for you sometime in the future.
