UPDATE 11 [PATROL UPDATE]

Some of the most important updates are:

Patrol System


A patrol system has been added, which can be disabled in classic mode from the panel. It will be activated on difficulties higher than easy starting at 6 am.

Death and Spectator System


When the patrol catches you, you will die. If all players are dead, the game will end. If only one player has died, the game will continue without them, and the player can observe everything from a death perspective.



Filters


21 filters have been added. Some are useful for improving vision, while others are simply interesting experiments.



Improved Career Mode


A system has been added where you will now be tasked with finding information about likes, dislikes, friends, enemies, hatreds, and loves of just one doll, along with 1 to 6 photos, turning on the light, etc.



Customization Purchases


Customization has been completely reset for all players. Items now need to be purchased before they can be equipped.



Trading Cards


Trading cards are purchased through Steam and will occasionally drop for players. This feature is experimental, so there may be issues.



New Achievements


3 new achievements have been added!
  • Caught (Let a patrol catch you)
  • Artist (Customize your shelter or caravan)
  • Wasteful (Purchase all customizer items)


House Extended Again


The house has been extended again, as it was in earlier versions. This extension was necessary due to changes in the caravan block.

Features
  • Added a close button when entering a password in the lobby
  • Changed the photo of the employee of the week trophy to the host character's photo
  • Error report resolution added
  • Added filters to enhance brightness contrast and introduce new options
  • Overlays have been replaced with Steam overlays (automatically centered)
  • Added configuration to open Steam microphone settings
  • Added link for submitted tickets
  • Added a space for your tickets to review responses from support at any time
  • Added a system for purchasing customization items for shelters and caravans
  • The shelter contains "None" to remove customization
  • Added 3 new achievements and trophies
  • Increased the jumpscare duration
  • Added a video option in settings to enable filters
  • Extended the house map (Dolls can now leave the room again as in early updates)
  • Moved the door block in the house to the caravan instead of the room
  • Added patrols to all maps
  • Implemented the ability to be killed by patrols and enter spectator mode
  • Improved career mode
  • Added a to-do list in career mode (gameplays can now last less than 10 minutes)
  • Re-oriented the notebook
  • Notebook data can now only be modified for specific dolls requiring their aptitudes to be searched
  • Removed dolls from the case history in saves, reducing file size, improving speed, and avoiding lag
  • Patrols cannot be disabled in career mode
  • Increased rewards per level in daily challenge rewards
  • Added career mode to the daily challenge (40% chance)
  • Career mode now unlocks after completing normal difficulty
  • Added market items for trading with other players

  • TV does not display "Press key to interact"

UPDATE 10 [HOTFIX #2]

  • Fixed: Daily challenge, level etc takes longer to load than the user to interact with the PC

WORKING ON UPDATE 11!

It's time to continue development! After nearly 4 months since the announcement of multiplayer development, we have finally completed Update 10 today!

Now it’s time to move on to new things!

Some of the most important features this new update will bring:

  • Entity
  • Buy customizable items
  • Improved Career Mode
  • Doll cards


Entity

The Entity will be a kind of ghost roaming the maps. It will sit in a chair waiting for the right moment to move and patrol. You’ll need to avoid it to safely inspect the dolls. If the Entity sees you, it will chase you until it catches you, and when it does, it will kill you. In multiplayer, a player who dies will no longer be needed to continue the investigation.

This can be enabled/disabled from the panel (just like jumpscares).

Buy customizable items

Starting with the next update, all customization will cost money. This adds more value and purpose to the money earned in the game.

Improved Career Mode

The Career Mode will be made more dynamic. Although there were plans to move Career Mode to classic maps, for now, it will remain in the current map with the current actions and dolls. The Entity will also be added here.

The highlight is that the tutorial will be removed, replaced with a to-do list. You’ll only need to discover a few key details about the dolls per case instead of every single piece of information (only what’s requested on the to-do list).

Doll cards

It’s too early to provide details since this feature will involve Steam’s item market. As with the trading cards, this will be our first time tackling something like this, so we’re unsure how complicated it might be. The goal is to release items on the Steam Market that can be bought and sold. These items will include collectible cards for each doll, potentially including legendary cards. These cards will be collected in an album located in your shelter, along with packs to obtain new cards!

In the future, we plan to implement something similar but using in-game currency!
