We are aware that an update made to the 2K Launcher is causing technical issues for some of our players, preventing the acceptance of Terms of Service.

UPDATE [06/26/2024 5:10PM PT]: We've deployed a hotfix to the 2K launcher that resolves an issue where some users were unable to accept the Terms of Service due to certain combinations of Screen Resolution and Scaling Percentage. You should now be able to accept the Terms of Service. We are continuing to investigate some cases where players are unable to access online multiplayer functionality. Stay tuned.

Today we're excited to share that the next monthly Civilization VI challenge, Terra Incognita, is now live for the Steam version of the game on PC. This challenge can be attempted at either Prince or Emperor difficulty.

For a limited time, challenges like this one afford you an opportunity to test your skills as a specific leader in a unique scenario. The first time you successfully complete each challenge, you'll earn yourself a new in-game Hall of Fame Badge.

To play the current challenge between June 18 and July 16, go to the main menu in-game and click on "Terra Incognita - Challenge of the Month." Note that if you don't own any of the DLC featured in the challenge, you will be granted free trial access to it for use in the challenge so you don't miss out.

CHALLENGE 8: TERRA INCOGNITA

Lacking both strategic materials and the luxuries your people demand, you're compelled to explore beyond the shores of your resource-poor continent. Play on Prince difficulty to benefit from João III's boost to international trade, or leverage city-states as Matthias Corvinus on Emperor difficulty for a real challenge.

Can you reach the promised land and secure victory over leaders in the same predicament before July 16? It's time to set sail!

Designed by Civilization streamer Potato McWhiskey, this event challenges you to lead the Khmer Empire to a Culture victory. Build sprawling cities that celebrate your faith in the Prasat temples, and drive cultural hegemony through your population's growth.

The Khmer's wondrous Angkor Wat temple complex is a magnet for visitors in modern-day Cambodia. As King Jayavarman VII, can you attract enough tourists to achieve this goal before June 18?
