Egging On News

The first playtest session was such a cracking success we've decided to announce we’re extending the playtest with a new round of Yolkfolk joining the fun!

Thanks to the incredible feedback, we’ve already rolled out some updates to the test build, now live for everyone to enjoy. These include smoother control tweaks, handy new tips and tricks, and...wait, is that a drone buzzing around?

We would really appreciate if those that test the game could fill in the Feedback Form. Every comment helps us make the game eggstra special!

A quick reminder that since this is a playtest with some placeholder features, please refrain from streaming or sharing videos publicly. If you want to cover Egging On please fill out our Creators Form or catch us on Discord for a chat.

We are thrilled to share that Egging On has been selected by the panel at Day of the Devs to feature in the upcoming in-person showcase in San Francisco for GDC. Anyone lucky enough to be attending GDC will be able to get their hands on a playable build of the game!



Not attending GDC? Not to worry! Our playtest sign ups are still open and we'll be regularly rolling out access for those of you eager to play!

We've also had a number of content creators reach out for streamable builds; so if you're interested in covering the game or streaming it to your community, complete this form and you'll be the first to get access to a playable and streamable build!

The time has come! We've begun sending out invites to our first playtest (please note these invites are random!).

This playtest will be live until March 10th - so make sure to jump into the Hen House whilst you can! We'd really appreciate if those who do take part fill out our Feedback Form to help us create the best possible egg-experience for you! By filling out the form, you'll also be the first to be notified of any future playtesting opportunities.

If you weren't selected this time around - don't fret! We'll be doing future playtesting sessions, so make sure to join our Discord to keep up to date with any announcements!

We've been hard at work these last few months building out the best possible egg-experience for you all, and we're excited to announce that we're opening sign-ups for closed playtests!

For a chance to participate, simply request access via our Steam store page, or for all our super-fans, join our Discord for further details and guaranteed access.

These playtests will begin later this month, however sign-up now for a chance to reserve your place!
