The balance Adjustments for Miyamoto Musashi are as follows.

◆Targeting Behavior Adjustments
・For certain skills, when a target is selected, the character will now automatically face the target at the start of the skill or at the moment the attack is executed.

◆Target Marker Specification Changes
・For certain skills, the target marker will now change when the target enters the skill’s effective range.

■Dash Attack
・Certain Elements will be adjusted.
 Thrust → Slash

■Heavenly Flash of Retribution
・The number of hits will be increased
 2 → 4(V~VII)
 4 → 8(VIII)
・The cooltime will be increased
 5s → 15s(V)
 6s → 16s(VI)
 7s → 17s(VII)
 8.5s → 18s(VIII)
・Fixed an issue where the visual effect would disappear when the flying slash hit a target. Only the hit detection continued to travel after impact.
・Effective distance will be increased.

■Heavenly Strike of Soulbinding
・Certain Elements will be adjusted.
 Thrust → Slash
・Since the element distribution for Rank VIII differed from that of Ranks V~VII, it will be adjusted to match the distribution used for Ranks V~VII.

■Heavenly Fluttering Blade
・The time of the charge motion will be decreased.
・Skill cancel timing will be made earlier.
・The element will be adjusted.

 Accordingly, the skill power will also be adjusted.

・The attack pillars will now appear at the positions of nearby enemies Pillars that have no valid target will appear at random locations.
・Skill cancel timing will be made earlier.
・The number of the pillars will be decreased.

 20 → 10(VII)
・The number of hits per pillar will be reduced.

■Ougi Way of Oni: Piercing Soul Shadow

The balance Adjustments for Murakami III are as follows.

◆Targeting Behavior Adjustments
・For certain skills, when a target is selected, the character will now automatically face the target at the start of the skill or at the moment the attack is executed.

◆Possession System Adjustments
・The time required before performing Possession will be changed to 0 seconds.
・The limit on the number of times Possession can be used will be removed, allowing it to be performed any number of times.
・The specification that prevented natural HP recovery after Possession ends will be removed.
・The specification that caused death from slip damage (such as Burn or Poison) while in Possession will be removed.
・The UI for the Possession Gauge will be adjusted.

■Jump Attack
・Skill Cancel Timing will be made earlier

■Special Shot
・The number of hits will be increased

■Self-Styled Current Shot
・The element will be adjusted, and the proportion of Fire element will be increased.

Vanguard Swap Character Enhancement System will be implemented in the update on 2025/12/4 JST.

With the Vanguard Swap Character Enhancement System, powerful Vanguard Abilities will be added to the target characters through the Partner window.
The first characters to receive enhancements will be Miyamoto Musashi, Himiko and Murakami III.

[h3]New Vanguard Abilities[/h3]
The Growth tab will be added to the Nakayoshi window, allowing not only the traditional Affection Level and Awakening Level increases, but also the unlocking of new Vanguard Abilities.



Vanguard Abilities are effects shown in the Partner Window, such as [During Vanguard Swap, Slash +30], which grant increased stats when using the character as your Partner Character.
The new Vanguard Abilities include effects such as the following.

■Drop Rate Up
While in Vanguard Swap, defeating enemies of specific Enemy Nature will increase item drop rates.
※Some items such as Lucky Boxes and certain dungeon clear rewards are not affected.

■Gauge Charge
When entering a dungeon while the character is accompanying you, a fixed amount of Vanguard Swap Gauge will be charged.
1% is charged per Affection Level.
Example: Affection Lv52 → Charges the Vanguard Swap Gauge by 52%.

■Enemy Nature Damage Multipliers
Damage dealt to enemies of specific Enemy Nature and other related effects can be increased.
Details are provided below.

[h3]Visualization of Enemy Nature Multipliers[/h3]
Enemy Nature Multipliers refer to the values that determine compatibility against different Enemy Nature types, previously shown only with descriptions such as 【Strong against Monster (M)】 in the Partner window.
A table will be added to the Status tab to make these Enemy Nature Multipliers visible.



Three types of Enemy Nature Multipliers exist:

■Damage Bonus
Increases damage dealt to enemies of specific Enemy Nature.
If displayed as +30%, damage dealt increases by 30%.
※Do not increase Damage Cap

■Damage Reduction
Reduces damage received from enemies of specific Enemy Nature.
If displayed as +30%, damage received decreases by 30%.

■Gauge Increase Rate
Increases the amount of Vanguard Swap Gauge gained when hitting, or receiving damage from, enemies of specific Enemy Nature.
If displayed as +30%, the amount of gauge gained increases by 30%.

Unlocking Vanguard Abilities further increases these multipliers.
A star icon appears next to any enhanced values.

[h3]How to Unlock Vanguard Abilities[/h3]
Each Vanguard Ability has its own unlock requirements, such as specific Affection Levels or Awakening Levels.
New material items introduced with this update are also required.



■Innate Elixir
Obtained once per day by completing the new daily achievement [Consume 100 Stamina].
Will also become obtainable through event exchanges and other methods in future updates.
※The [Consume 100 Stamina] achievement does not count toward daily complete achievements.

■Manuscript of Wisdom・Manuscript of Benevolence・Manuscript of Bravery
Dropped in all areas except from certain monsters.
Required scrolls differ depending on the character.

During the event period, the warding dungeon [Assault! Dragon Ark Tenshou -Puragtorium-] will be available.
Purgatorium dungeons appear irregularly, but you can get the exclusive Purgatorium Treasure items!

■Concerning Purgatorium Dungeons
 ・The monsters have high resistances, and attacks other than super effective attacks will be less effective.
  Additionally, these monsters will have extra strong attacks.
 ・Clear the dungeon with a B Rank or higher to be awarded Purgatorium Treasures.
 ・Occasionally when clearing at the highest difficulty, you can get a rare Magatama!

■About Items from the Dragon Ark Tenshou Purgatorium dungeon
 ・The Dragon Ark Tenshou Purgatorium Boss will drop the following items:

   Normal Difficulty → Purgatorium Tenryuu's Dagger
   Hard Difficulty → Pugatorium Tenryuu's Fittings
   Hell Difficulty → Purgatorium Tenryuu's Ruby

[h3]■Concerning Purgatorium Treasure[/h3]
・Purgatorium treasures can be exchanged with the purgatorium treasure NPC in Onigashima.
・Clear each difficulty of the Purgatorium dungeon once in order to open the Exchange.
・The purgatorium treasure NPC is only available when the purgatorium dungeon is available, and the items
available in the exchange vary depending on which purgatorium is available.
・Purgatorium treasures will convert to purgatorium junk when the purgatorium dungeon is no longer available, but
the purgatorium junk can be exchanged for treasures with the NPC.
