the issue may be resovled by checking the following settings.
Right-click on "Onigiri" from Steam library → Click "Properties" →Click "General" → Check if "Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game" is enabled

If it is disabled, the purchase screen will not proceed, so please enable this check.
