The Brawlhalla World Championship Expo 2024 may have ended, but it is the beginning for the 10th year of Brawlhalla! The past 9 years have been incredible thanks to the support from you all in the community, and we have some of our coolest things in store to celebrate our 10th anniversary with you. Check out all these reveals from BCX and know we’ve only just started.

Nix, a freelance angel of death and the finest reaper of the Underworld, misses her mark at the hands of a rogue Valkyrie – and she never misses! Nix discovers strange enemies, stranger friends, and tougher fights than she ever imagined. Now begrudgingly teamed up with an unlikely partner, Nix will need to win Odin’s tournament of heroes if she wants to keep her job and, more importantly, her soul.

[h2]Guilds are coming in 2025![/h2] Player-made Clans shaped Brawlhalla's community since 2015, even driving early esports and community socialization. Now, Guilds are bringing the clans system into the modern era with enhanced features and console support. With Guild Leaderboards, Missions, Battles, and more, this new social feature is set to redefine how Brawlers connect and compete!


In partnership with Symbiote, our first ever official plushies were just revealed! Each plushie also comes with its own in-game code for an exclusive Sidekick only available by purchasing that Legend plushie. Bring home Orion, Nix, Yumiko, and Mordex to re-enact a 2v2 match in April 2025.

On December 4, iconic Star Wars™ characters Han Solo, Chewbacca, Kay Vess and Nix, and The Mandalorian with Grogu will join Brawlhalla! With them come a new Map and other Items to be revealed at a later date. This Event also brings a new Companion feature for Grogu who will follow The Mandalorian around in battle. He can’t attack or be attacked, though he will react to the brawl by emoting and other actions.

A first look at our next Weapon, the Chakram, was just shown off! The Chakram mode swaps with down light attacks between a one-handed Weapon to a faster dual-wielded Weapon. Check out the trailer on our YouTube channel and look forward to more information about the first Legend to use Chakram in 2025.

Challenges will be released as a fully-fledged feature in Brawlhalla in early 2025. With new tutorials and ramped-up Challenges designed to encourage player growth - such as the Lava Challenge and new Dodge Read Challenges - and Lin Fei reacting to what you do, this will be a fun feature for new and experienced Brawlers alike.

Plushies, Challenges, the next Weapon, and now we’ve just revealed our first ever Graphic Novel, the Brawlhalla Star Wars Event Wave II, and the long-awaited Clans update: Guilds. Grogu is something new to Brawlhalla called a Companion that follows The Mandalorian around in battle. Grogu doesn’t attack and can’t be attacked, though he will react to the brawl by emoting and other actions. Plus, Chewbacca will carry his Bowcaster two-handed like a rifle instead of one handed or dual wielded like every other Blasters character in Brawlhalla.

Han Solo, Chewbacca, Kay, and The Mandalorian join Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ahsoka Tano, Darth Vader, and Darth Maul, who all entered Brawlhalla earlier this year.

[h2]Guilds are coming in 2025![/h2]

Before we dive into Guilds, we need to talk about the path paved by player-made Clans that led us here. Player-made Clans were the backbone of Brawlhalla’s early community development, dating back to 2015. In fact, Clans even helped push Brawlhalla Esports in those early days before there was official Brawlhalla Esports.

Clans have remained a core component of the Brawlhalla community, but they’ve outgrown the in-game Clan functionality. Guilds aim to bring the clans system into the modern era with all the features players have been dreaming of—including support for console players. Guilds are a social feature that allows Brawlers to socialize, grow, and compete with friends or rivals in-game. This first iteration introduces features like Guild Leaderboards, Guild Missions, Guild Battles, and more. The team has been working hard on this feature for a long time, and we are thrilled to bring Guilds to the Brawlhalla community.

Day 2 of the World Championship Expo 2024 has kicked off with even more reveals of what’s to come during our 10th year of Brawlhalla! Yesterday was new merch & a massive update to Challenges, and today it’s our first ever Plushies & the next Weapon: Chakram. Challenges were introduced as a beta feature in late 2022. Now, with the guidance of our esteemed teacher Lin Fei, we’re excited to announce that Challenges will be a fully-fledged feature in Brawlhalla in early 2025! With everything from tutorial-based fundamentals challenges to ramped-up Challenges designed to encourage player growth - such as the Lava Dash Jump Challenge and new Dodge Read Challenges - and Lin Fei as the new teacher reacting to what you do, there’s something here for new and experienced Brawlers alike.

The 2024 Brawlhalla World Championship Expo is shaping up to be the most competitive Brawlhalla tournament to date. Between 1v1s and 2v2s, there are only 3 spots for champions.
