Witcher 4 is more than ‘The Witcher 3 in new clothing’, promise CDPR, as over 400 devs work on Polaris

CD Projekt Red are continuing to bulk up the team developing The Witcher 4 - officially codenamed Polaris - with two-thirds of the studio now working on the follow-up to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Meanwhile, the team working on Cyberpunk 2077 has shrunk to fewer than 20 people, less than half the number working on its upcoming sequel.

Facing outrageous haircut prices, Dragon's Dogma 2 players are farming cash by helping pawns become Witchers

Dragon's Dogma 2 can sometimes be a bit like real life - sometimes everyone has the plague, and you never quite have enough money. Unsurprisingly, folks who’re keen not to have to save up their gold every time they want to try out a new hairstyle are already finding ways to quickly earn a fortune.

Weirdly, it feels like a lot of the chatter around DD2 since it came out has been linked to finances in some way. I’m mainly talking about the furore surrounding those controversial microtransactions, which was arguably a bit overblown, given that a lot of the stuff affected can be found in decent quantities just by playing the game and modders have quickly stepped up to provide alternatives.

Now, however, some players have found a way to use the game’s pawn system a bit like an investment scheme, and apparently it’s pretty lucrative, provided you don’t mind teaching a few hapless helpers how to slay monsters like a Witcher. Yep, someone call Gerry from the Riviera, DD2’s pawn babysitters are coming for his job, and they don’t need any mutations, unless you count Dragonsplague as one.

You'll soon be able to play GOG games away from your PC through Amazon Luna

While cloud gaming is very much not at a point where I want it to be the main way I play games, if I ever will, I do appreciate having the convenience as an option. Being able to play a game away from my PC can be handy. So it's neat that GOG have announced they're teaming up with Amazon to make select GOG games playable through the Amazon Luna cloud gaming platform "soon". Sure, I might be tempted to take a nice stroll through Night City while slouching about with my laptop that absolutely cannot run Cyberpunk 2077.

A hidden picture of Cyberpunk 2077's devs has just been discovered in-game, naturally it's near a giant burger

Psst, did you know that the Cyberpunk 2077’s devs had added a fresh little secret to the game alongside one of its recent updates? Well, CD Projekt did just that, and to see it, you’ll have to get up close and personal with a giant burger.

While it’s fun knowing that work has kicked off at CD Projekt on the game’s highly-anticipated sequel, even if some of the studio’s other projects are still shrouded in mystery, it’s still going to be a good while until any of them arrive. So, you can hardly blame one player for having stumbled across this secret by (checks notes) taking in the views from atop a fast food joint.

The joint in question is Tom’s Diner, the eatery where you meet up with Takemura early on in the base game’s main story - you know, not long after all of that relic stuff goes down. As YouTuber Ian Ilano TV has spotted (thanks, GamesRadar), following the game’s big 2.1 update, if you clamber up on the roof of this fine establishment, you can encounter a fun little easter egg involving a picture of some CD Projekt devs.
