The Witcher spin-off Project Sirius is "going to be an amazing game, one for the books", former design director says as CD Projekt properly absorbs The Molasses Flood

The Molasses Flood has now formally been merged into The Witcher 4 developer CD Projekt, which acquired the studio behind The Flame in the Flood back in 2021. The move means TMF has ceased operating as a separate legal entity to CDPR, but one of its co-founders reckons it's a good one for the studio, and that the Witcher spin-off it's working on has a "very bright future".

Things are going pretty good for CD Projekt right now. The publisher has just shared its full financial results for 2024, and revealed that it just recorded its best net profit for a year in which it didn't put out any major releases. Cyberpunk 2077 was the main driver behind this, as it continues to help hold down the fort until The Witcher 4 arrives.

This May marks the 10th anniversary of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. We’re thrilled to announce concerts celebrating it in Poland and United States!

In just a couple of days, on March 7th at 10AM EST / 4PM CET you will be able to purchase tickets for two anniversary concerts:
  • In Boston, Massachusetts on May 31st in Emerson Colonial Theatre
  • In Poznań, Poland on June 15th during Pyrkon, a Polish Fan Convention who teamed up with us for this celebration

The Blood of Dawnwalker devs' main goal is "maximizing players' agency and freedom of choice", and they're taking what they learned from The Witcher 3 to make it happen
