Title: Dungeon Done Early Access Launch & Patch Notes


Hello, Dungeon Done players!
This is the Dungeon Done development team.

We are thrilled to announce the Early Access launch of Dungeon Done!
Thanks to your support and encouragement since the early stages of development, we’ve made it to this exciting milestone.

During the Early Access period, we’ll continue to work hard to deliver regular updates and improvements, ensuring an even more polished experience and fresh content for everyone.

Below are the details of what’s been added and improved in this Early Access version.

[h3]■ New Features[/h3]
- New Map: Cult Temple
→ A brand-new map with a distinct style compared to the Dungeon of Greed.
→ Experience unique monsters, traps, and other mechanics exclusive to the Cult Temple.
→ Outdoor horror elements await, providing a different kind of fear than indoor dungeons.
- Intro Video (Replayable via the bottom-left menu on the main screen)
- New Languages Added: Turkish, Polish
- Difficulty Settings: Both maps now have Normal and Hard difficulty options
- Quest and Growth System
- Steam Achievements added
- Party System: Invite Steam friends to form a party
- Party Chat and Compass Markers: Party members are displayed on the compass
- Treasure Goblin: A goblin that avoids players but drops items when attacked
- Custom Game Host Controls: Hosts can now kick players from their rooms
- New Monsters and Traps
- Random Rope Placement in Pitfall Traps: Players can now place ropes in pitfall traps randomly to aid in escape.
- Removed Scavenger Deletion Feature: Players can now change character appearances directly at the dressing room
- Cult Temple Grim Reaper System:
→ The Grim Reaper appears and deals powerful attacks to players. Escape before everyone dies!
→ Place statues to delay the Reaper’s appearance.
→ If killed by the Reaper, the player's character appears as a skeleton until the next dungeon is completed.

[h3]■ New Items[/h3]
- Rope: Rescue teammates stuck in traps or operate cooperative levers.
- Lost Hero’s Sword: Can cut ropes when hanging upside down in a snare trap.
- Moai Staff: A mysterious staff with fearsome abilities.
- Club: Weak attack power (but stronger than a torch or lantern).
- Wooden Door Shield: Blocks monster attacks twice.
- Underwear Slot: Add items hidden in underwear.
- Pawnshop System: Appraise and sell items hidden in underwear.
- Potion Timing: Potions now take effect immediately upon use.

[h3]■ Improvements and Bug Fixes[/h3]
- Changed survival bonus/death penalty to an "escape bonus" system.
- Removed candle items; characters now provide minimal ambient light.
- Improved dungeon entry system: Only players gathered at the entrance can enter.
- Enhanced gamepad controls and added vibration.
- Added a marker on the compass showing the location of your death.
- Expanded graphics/sound settings and added new customization options.
- Extended sensitivity ranges for mouse and gamepad controls.
- Characters now receive one torch and one lantern upon creation.
- Social actions now display an icon on the top compass.
- Improved overall sound and microphone quality.
- Adjusted in-game monster balancing (HP, attack power, chase distance for each difficulty).
- Adjusted in-game economy balance (item prices, shop costs, drop rates, escape bonuses, costume costs, training costs).
- Adjusted player stats balance (weight limits, bag slots; can now be upgraded via the growth menu).
- Updated map level design (monster, trap, and treasure chest placements).
- Improved map lighting (ambient light levels, lantern/torch brightness).
- Removed brightness adjustment on the first launch (now available in settings).
- Fixed an issue where distant effects remained active after changing graphic quality, lowering FPS.
- Fixed an issue where far-off flame traps continuously activated, causing FPS drops.
- Fixed a UI issue where holding down a key caused repeated opening/closing.
- Fixed an issue where non-hosts couldn’t see the results screen properly.
- Fixed an issue where players dying during escape occasionally didn’t receive rewards.
- Fixed an issue where the resurrection UI didn’t appear after death.
- Fixed a control issue after being revived with the mouse cursor displayed.

Dungeon Done Demo Closure and Upcoming Development Plans


Hello, Dungeon Done players! This is the Dungeon Done development team.
We’d like to inform you that the demo build is now officially closed.
We sincerely thank everyone who continued to support and play the demo even after Next Fest.

We’re excited to announce that Dungeon Done will be entering Early Access in December.🥳🥳
Based on the valuable feedback and suggestions you’ve shared during the demo period, we are focusing on incorporating those improvements into the game.

[New Content Coming in December]

1) New Dungeon Maps and Monsters
- Face new adventures and challenges with brand new dungeons and enemies.

2) Dungeon Difficulty Options
- You’ll soon be able to choose a dungeon difficulty that fits your preferred play style.

3) Matchmaking System
- A matchmaking system will be introduced for a smoother multiplayer experience.

4) New Equipment Items
- Enjoy new gear that will add more variety and fun to your gameplay.
